Neither the ongoing violence in Israel nor the Iran nuclear deal were at the center of the first day of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visit to Berlin. His claims regarding then-Mufti of Jerusalem's alleged role in planning the wholesale extermination of European Jewry overshadowed his joint press conference on Wednesday with Chancellor Angela Merkel, who insisted once again on Germany's exclusive responsibility for the Holocaust.
Netanyahu toned down yet repeated his remarks about Haj Amin al-Husseini's pro-Nazi past, stating that although Hitler was responsible for the Holocaust, the Muslim elder urged Nazi leadership to prevent Jews from fleeing Europe and to implement the Final Solution.
He called the Mufti an accomplice of Himmler and Eichmann, pointing to the evidence found in the Nuremberg proceedings and during Eichmann's trial. The day before, in a speech at the World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem, he made the claims that the annihilation of the Jewish people was al-Husseini's idea, while Hitler wanted initially only to expel them form Europe. ...

“Three years ago,” Patricia Smith said, “Hillary promised that – when I went to the casket ceremony in Washington – she promised she would get back to me and tell me what happened.”
Smith’s son, Sean, was one of four Americans who died in the Sept. 11 Benghazi attack.
Instead of receiving answers from Clinton’s State Department, Smith said she got the cold shoulder.

“I saw on TV the bloody fingerprints on the wall over there,” she said. “I asked specifically, ‘Are those my son’s fingerprints crawling down the wall – the bloody fingerprints? Nobody ever got back to me on that. Are those his fingerprints? Were those his fingerprints? What happened? Somebody’s got to tell me from the government.” ...
