By Dave Hodges, The Common Sense Show — The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and I honor that regardless of the religion. I am commanded by Jesus to love my enemies. I try my best, but I confess that I often fall short of the glory of God. As a man, I have always believed in allowing people to dress, speak and behave as they want. I do not have to agree with anyone to show them dignity and respect. However, I also recognize my right to self-defense. This includes the right to protect my family, my neighborhood and my country. It is because of the latter phrase, that I strongly believe that we need to force the Obama administration to immediately cease all unscreened immigration activities from Muslim groups coming out of Africa and the Middle East. All we have to do is to look at what is happening in Europe to see that the continued importation of Muslims is too dangerous. Nobody, from any region of the world should be allowed to come to this country without thoroughly being investigated for health reasons and for reasons related to terrorism.

Tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” have poured into Austria from Hungary and Slovenia in recent months on their way to Germany and Sweden, two wealthy European countries that have laid out the welcome mat for migrants. Obtaining a working firearm and ammunition in Germany, Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands is practically impossible for the average citizen. Germany, for instance, requires a psychological evaluation, the purchase of liability insurance and verifiable compliance with strict firearms storage and safety rules. And self-defense is not even a valid reason to purchase a gun in these countries.

Jordan Wooley, a seventh grade student at West Memorial Junior High School in the Katy Independent School District, testified at a school board meeting last night about an assignment in her reading class that caused a serious controversy, and expressed frustration about her teacher’s atheist indoctrination.
“Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not real. Our teacher had started off saying that the assignment had been giving problems all day. We were asked to take a poll to say whether God is fact, opinion or a myth and she told anyone who said fact or opinion was wrong and God was only a myth,” Wooley told board members.
Students immediately objected, Wooley said, but the teacher refused to consider their position...
