BY RANDY DESOTO, WESTERN JOURNALISM — The Obama administration announced on Monday some significant changes to the program, WHICH ALLOW PEOPLE FROM 38 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES TO TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT A VISA.
Among the new changes, prompted by the Nov. 13 Paris attacks, “The United States will expand the use of fingerprints and photographs to identify passengers and update its databases to include any past travel to a country considered a terrorist safe haven. Such countries include Somalia, Mali, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Colombia and Venezuela, according to the State Department,” USA Today reports
“The visa waiver program is a valuable tool to promote lawful trade and travel with our best foreign allies,” Sec. of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson said on Monday. “But, as many have noted, ISIL’s force consists of foreign terrorist fighters, INCLUDING THOUSANDS FROM COUNTRIES IN THE VISA WAIVER PROGRAM,” he said.

The San Bernardino PD’s SWAT team was training nearby when the call came in of multiple shots fired just before 11 a.m. local time, Lieutenant Richard Lawhead told KTLA. They were already suited up and “ready to roll,” which is why they were able to respond so quickly.

That's what Sheriff Joe Arpaio is urging a quarter-million Arizona gun owners to do to fight terrorism and mass shooters.
On Tuesday, the so-called "Toughest Sheriff in America" said he cannot guarantee the public's safety and called on them to take matters into their own hands if necessary.
"I'm just talking about the areas where you have large crowds and someone pulls out the gun and starts shooting. Maybe somebody with a concealed weapon takes the guy down," Arpaio said.
Specifically, Arpaio was looking to the 250,000 Arizonans who carry concealed weapons permits to help keep the peace. ...
