CAIR Tired of Infiltrating Democratic Party; Now Going After Republican Party

Goal: To "FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM" America Into A Muslim Nation Under Sharia Law
Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran…should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

Walid Shoebat Foundation — The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) appears to be attempting to capitalize on the Republican Party establishment’s desire to have a bigger tent when it comes to embracing minorities. After losing the election, there is a debate within the Republican Party about what needs to be done to get more minority votes. CAIR’s leadership apparently wants a piece of that action and is pointing to what they think is a carrot for Republican politicians in the form of a large percentage of Muslims who voted for Barack Obama.

American Muslims to Ask GOP to Reassess Relationship
Coalition to announce full-page ad inviting better GOP-Muslim relations

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/4/12) — On Wednesday, December 5, a coalition of American Muslim organizations will hold a noon news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., to call on the Republican Party to reassess and improve its relationship with U.S. Muslims.

The coalition will also announce the publication of a full-page advertisement in the conservative Washington Times newspaper outlining the need for that reassessment.
Here is an excerpt from that open letter:
“We are writing to offer an open invitation to reassess your party’s current relationship with American Muslims. As with other demographics, American Muslim support for Republicans has dropped precipitously in recent years. This shift away from the GOP is not set in stone, but its future direction is dependent on choices your party makes.”

How about some perspective? The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was founded in 1994 by Omar Ahmad and Nihad Awad, who is also the group’s Executive Director. Awad was quoted as saying the following in 1994:
“I am a supporter of the Hamas movement.”
Ahmad was quoted as saying this in 1998:

Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran…should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

So, at minimum, CAIR was founded by an anti-Semite and a religious bigot. At worst – and the more likely scenario – CAIR is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, which seeks to overthrow the United States from within. Despite the aforementioned positions espoused by CAIR’s founders, the group continues to attempt to rehabilitate its image, in part, by aligning with dupes, useful idiots, and complicit actors like David Saperstein and Barry Lynn. Partnering with non-Muslims makes group like CAIR look tolerant.

In reality, just digest the words of Awad in 1994 and Ahmad in 1998 to get to their true beliefs.

For some time, Islamists have had much more success finding sympathetic ears for their agenda within the Democratic Party. They haven’t had as much success in the Republican Party but individuals like Grover Norquist, Suhail Khan, and others raise quite a few red flags.

Biography of Walid Shoebat
Former Muslim Brotherhood Member Now Peace Activist
For the record, my name is Walid Shoebat. I used to be a radicalized Muslim willing to die for the cause of Jihad until I converted to Christianity in 1994. As a member of the PLO I was involved in terror activity, and was imprisoned in Jerusalem for three weeks. In prison, I was recruited to plant a bomb in Bethlehem as a result of which, thank God, no one was injured. My mother was an American and my father a Palestinian Arab. My parents sent me in 1978 to the United States to study at Loop College in Chicago Illinois. There I was recruited at a hotel “Terror Conference” by Jamal Said, a founder of the IAP (Islamic Association of Palestine) and Imam at one of the largest mosques in Chicago. The IAP was a forerunner to today’s Hamas terror organization and also to the terror front group CAIR (Council for American Islamic relations). This was in the early 1980s when I was being trained for Jihad activities in the USA along with many other young foreigners as well as US citizens. The Imams were the prime recruiters for terrorism then as they are still today and terror conferences are held all over the USA to this day. » Read More
