America's National Anthem - The Star Spangled Banner

"In God We Trust" - America's Official National Motto
In 1956 the United States Congress passed an act (H. J. Resolution 396), adopting "In God We Trust" as the official motto. E pluribus unum, as Obama often cites as America's motto, was never codified by law, it was never America's official motto.
