Cheryl Sullenger is Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue, one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation. Cheryl has been closely following the murder trial of abortionist, Kermit Gosnell.New information has come forth in regard to the trial of Kermit Gosnell since Cheryl last appeared on Crosstalk (See Crosstalk entry for April 8th.) Yesterday was the first day back in court since the prosecution rested its case. Cheryl informed listeners that the defense attorney asked Judge Jeffrey Minehart to basically dismiss the entire case. While he didn't do that he did dismiss nine charges against Gosnell (out of almost 400) including 3 counts of murder, 1 count of infanticide and 5 counts of abuse of a corpse.
Before leaving at the halfway point in the broadcast, Cheryl encouraged listeners to call their health department and ask them to do an inspection of any local abortion clinics.
Vic then challenged listeners to call with an answer to the following question: When was the last time you heard a message from your church dealing with the wickedness of abortion?
