Jason Howerton, TheBlaze — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was heckled during an anti-Obamacare event in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday night. As the senator addressed the crowd, a pair of individuals began chanting: “You have health care, so can we!”However, Cruz didn’t criticize them or ignore them. Instead, the Texas Republican thanked the men for “sharing” their views and noted the importance of the First Amendment. He later agreed with them – sort of.
The men were eventually drowned out by the crowd’s chants of “USA!”
“Number one, I agree with them,” Cruz went on to say of the two hecklers. “They should have health care, and Obamacare is causing more and more people struggling to climb the economic ladder to lose their health care.”
