“The disastrous rollout of ObamaCare was not spared from mockery last night at the Country Music Awards (CMAs). CMA hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood had a hilarious segment during which they lampooned the website in a song set to the tune of country music legend George Strait’s hit song ‘Amarillo by Morning’.
During a skit featuring other country music stars, as well as members of the Duck Dynasty family, singing a new version of ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends’, Paisley stopped and, using yet another pun against Miley Cyrus, complained about twerking his back. That is when the hilarity ensued.”
Brad Paisley: “…..I think I need to see a doctor.”The pair hurries over to a laptop so that Underwood can help Paisley get signed up.
Carrie Underwood: “Hey, do you have that Obamacare?”
Paisley: “Obamacare? What’s that?”
Underwood: “Oh, it’s great. It’s great”.
Paisley: “What is it?”
Underwood: “I started signing up last Thursday and I’m almost done. Let’s go to the website and get you signed up.”
Paisley: “Oh, okay.”
Underwood: “Let’s see here. Let’s see. can’t be too hard, right.”
Paisley: “Why is it spinning?”
Underwood: “Oh, it does that.”
Paisley: “Okay, but why’s it smoking?”
Underwood and Paisley: “Oh, I don’t — maybe we should restart it? Obamacare by morning, why is this takin’ so long? I’m gonna wind up with hemorrhoids if I sit here till dawn, we’ll have cataracts and dementia, oh this is gettin’ on my last nerve, Obamacare by morning, over six people served.”
The crowds rip-roaring laughter showed that this mocking of the failed ObamaCare rollout was a huge success.
