On Today’s Show: John Guandolo is a former FBI agent who was assigned to the Counter-terrorism Division. As a counter-terrorism expert, he created and implemented the FBI's first counter-terrorism training/education program. He is the founder of UnderstandingTheThreat.com, is co-author of 'Shariah-The Threat to America' and is the co-autnor of the newly released book, 'Raising a Jihadi Generation'.Is the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security charged with protecting our nation? John says they are but even he wonders who's going to hold them responsible.
One of the reasons for this is that our government refuses to call terrorism what it really is. Instead it's given a different label apparently for fear of offending Muslims. John places the blame on Islamic advisers at the federal level in the White House, the FBI, CIA, the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security. These advisers are part of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement, therefore new information that could slow or stop terrorism appears to get blocked. This should come as no surprise when you consider that according to John, the Muslim Brotherhood is recognized by foreign military leaders to have greater influence in the U.S. than in nations like Turkey or Pakistan.
John noted that the first Islamic organization in America was formed by the Muslim Brotherhood and is known as the Muslim Students Association. Their focus is to recruit for the brotherhood and the jihad. Today the Muslim Students Association has over 600 chapters on every major college and university campus as well as on smaller campuses. In addition, there are over 2,100 Islamic centers, the vast majority of which are controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood. The result is that homegrown terrorists are being raised in the U.S. to such an extent that Muslims are launching jihadi operations from the United States to overseas nations.
