Todd Cefaratti, Editor of TPNN — Vice President Joe Biden seemed a bit cranky as he went on a tirade against the Tea Party on Monday. The Vice President known for blurting out whatever pops into his head and his unusual knack for poor communication came out swinging against the Tea Party who the left continues to demonize for having the audacity to represent the voices of millions who favor constitutionally-limited government and free markets.On Monday, Biden was in Virginia for a get-out-the-vote campaign for Democrat Terry McAuliffe who is running in a gubernatorial race against GOP candidate Ken Cuccinelli in Virginia.
The Virginia race has turned ugly as the Democrats dusted off last year’s play book and has launched a smear campaign to paint Cuccinelli as having waged a supposed “war on women.” The same old tired slogans were dusted off and instead of Mitt Romney, the radicalized Democratic Party has maintained that anybody who doesn’t want to fund abortions and birth control is, somehow, anti-women.
Keeping with that theme, Biden unleashed harsh criticism of the Tea Party and said,
Got it; we’re Neanderthals for generally opposing an expansion of costly, freedom-inhibiting government and the belief that it is our moral duty as citizens to fund birth control and help defray the costs associated with murdering babies.”This race has captured the attention of the entire nation. Not just because it’s a …race in a bellwether state that has become the face of progress in this country. But because it’s the first major race between the forces and faces of the new Republican tea party — a tea party whose social recidivism is only outgunned by its hostility to science and technology and innovation and scholarship.”
Cuccinelli, Biden continued, is a candidate “whose views on women, you know them well but I think it’s fair to say, are from another era. I mean literally from another era.”
The left no longer even tries to hide it anymore; as we proceed to discuss important issues, it has become entirely too-obvious that the left does not seek to improve America, but instead, to radically change it and deviate from tried-and-true social, political and economic institutions. While Biden hails these new ways of “thinking” as “progress,” it is anything but. It is a demolition of what has, historically, made America so great.“Everything they talk about, without exaggeration, is about turning back what the rest of the country and the world thinks is progress,” Biden said. “It’s hard to fathom this state being led by a man who rejects all that this new thinking stands for. The whole nation is looking at this race, that’s not hyperbole.”
Further, Biden presupposes that America is pulling in one way while the Tea Party rejects this trend. The Tea Party is America! While Biden and the rest of the left may reject these ideas, millions of Americans have embraced the grassroots movement.
In a recent Rasmussen Poll, 42% of likely voters responded that the Tea Party closely matched their political ideology.
