According to Dr. Albrecht, from a sheer security standpoint, Healthcare.gov is one of the most insecure websites she's ever seen. She feels that from the ground up, those building this website failed to include the security basics that commercial websites would include. Like a new building that has holes in the foundation and must be demolished so that you can start over, she feels Healthcare.gov can't be fixed. In fact, in the terms of service portion of the site it says that you have no expectation of privacy with any data that you submit. She also noted that the “fixes” that we've heard about have been for functionality and not security.
What about enrolling by paper or phone? Dr. Albrecht recommended contacting your insurance company via their website or call them and ask them what's available that makes you compliant with Obamacare. For Christians she recommends looking into the Christian medical sharing ministries as this will also make you compliant under the Obamacare regulations.
Dr. Albrecht and Jim also discuss the Snowden/NSA information scandal, the startling research taking place at Google.com and details surrounding the new startmail.com private e-mail service that provides security not available with U.S. based webmail offerings.
