Theodore Shoebat, Shoebat Foundation — A pregnant woman is in jail awaiting her sentence – death – in Sudan. Joining her in the cell is her 18 month-old son.Her crime? She was found guilty of apostasy for her refusal to convert to Islam.
In addition to the death sentence, the woman was sentenced to 100 lashes for having illegal sex with her Christian husband.
Since Meriam Ibrahim’s father was Muslim and regardless that her mother was an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia, she would not be under Sharia Islamic law be permitted to marry a Christian man. Therefore, she was convicted of “apostasy” on Sunday and given four days to repent and escape death, said lawyer Al-Shareef Ali al-Shareef Mohammed.
In Sudan, the only way Christians can escape the death penalty is by recanting their Christian faith which is what most do.
One would think that we should be fortunate to have President Obama’s Muslim brother Malik Obama. After all he is an employee of Sudan’s Omar al-Bashir and works officially as the Executive Secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO). Malik could use his connections to save this woman.
But why should he? After all, Malik’s brother, “the Christian” United States President Obama personally prevented a revolution against Omar al-Bashir, thus enabling Bashir’s sharia regime to continue so he can kill more Christians.
How could the “Christian” President Obama at one point in time prevent Salva Kiir, the Christian president of South Sudan, from aiding rebels who wanted to topple Malik’s boss, al-Bashir to replace his Islamist government with a secular government?
Andrew S. Natsios of Foreign Affairs elaborates:
“…major rebel leaders in Darfur formally announced a new alliance to depose Bashir’s Islamist autocracy (the Sudanese affiliate of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood) and install a secular democratic pluralist state.”
And who stopped him? It was the “Christian” President Obama. He attacked the Christian leader. Natsios concluded:
“That led to an acrimonious meeting between U.S. President Barack Obama and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir late last year. The South has since stopped weapons transfers.”
Indeed, if the “Christian” Obamas truly care about the persecution of Christian women and seek to find someone to help, they could easily use their Muslim brother’s terrorist connections in Sudan.
