Informing and Equipping Americans Who Love Freedom
It Makes You Wonder
Before the trip, seventy members of the United States Congress signed a letter to the president requesting he bring up with the king the issue of Christian persecution in the Middle East. Christianity is illegal in Saudi Arabia. The president chose not to broach the subject. When asked why, the White House spokesman said the president did not have time during the trip. In fact, our Dear Leader has not shown a willingness to use his bully pulpit to speak out about the ethnic cleansing happening every day across the Middle East by fundamentalist Muslim jihadists. This lack of apparent interest begs the question: why?
We all know that President Obama claimed that he converted to Christianity prior to running for president of the United States. We have also heard the sermons of Reverend Wright that the president listened to frequently while attending church in Chicago. The God Damn America comment was widely played during the 2008 election. I have said many times that it’s not what Obama says that matters; it’s the result and consequences of his actions. In this case with Christianity, I believe he doesn’t speak out against Christian persecution because he just doesn’t care.
We now have the Islamic State in the Middle East giving an ultimatum to Christians in Iraq and elsewhere to leave within seventy-two hours or be persecuted or worse. These people have lost their homes and everything they owned–and have been literally thrown out into the desert. We have Boko Haram committing genocide in Africa and killing Christians routinely, men, women, and children alike. There are Christians being stoned, burned alive, and even crucified across Africa and the Middle East.
Where is President Obama on the issue? Where is the press conference expressing outrage? Where is the threat of military action against the leaders of these movements? The threat of a drone strike against a jihadist and those around him would at least make these people think. We don’t hear anything from the White House because at the end of the day, it’s not important to the man. He just doesn’t care.
Again, look at the consequences of his actions. An Islamic terrorist state stood up in the Middle East, Christians are being persecuted on a massive scale, and Iran is developing a nuclear weapon unimpeded. And what do we hear from Obama? Crickets… it makes you wonder why he chose to use the Koran when being sworn in as president.

From behind a smoking sniper rifle high atop his ivory tower peers the secular-”progressive.” He surveys his many victims, strewn across the American landscape below and mockingly sneers, “War on Christianity? What war on Christianity?” He then resumes shooting, all the while insisting that those uncooperative Christians who scatter for cover behind the word of God and the U.S. Constitution somehow suffer from a “persecution complex” (the baker, the photographer, the florist, the innkeeper, the Christian school administrator, etc.)...

He created the crisis with administration policies; and he could end it, if he wanted to.
The media report this as an “immigration crisis.” It is not. The government’s own definition of an immigrant is very precise: “persons admitted as legal permanent residents (LPRs) of the United States.” It would be more accurately described as an invasion, which is an “incursion by a large number of people.” As a friend told me this past week, “Sneaking into a country doesn’t make you an ‘immigrant’ any more than breaking into a house makes you ‘part of the family.’”...

Barack Obama recently hit a roadblock in his ongoing campaign to attend fundraisers across the nation. Upon announcing his intention to hobnob with supporters in Medina, Wash. earlier this week, city leaders explained that they will not force local taxpayers to pay for the associated expenses of his visit. “We love welcoming people to what we think is one of the most attractive communities in Puget Sound,” said City Manager Mike Sauerwein. While visitors might be welcome, however, he insisted that it should be at their own expense...

SHERIFF JOE: SOMETHING FISHY WITH THIS ADMINISTRATION

Arpaio Blasts Obama For Being
‘In Bed With Mexico’ In Border Crisis
‘In Bed With Mexico’ In Border Crisis
Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s planned deployment of 1,000 National Guard troops to the border has earned him criticism from Democrats and Mexican officials, the latter who are “seething,” Fox’s Neil Cavuto told Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio today during an interview on the “Your World” program.
Arpaio, recalling his tenure as head of the DEA in Mexico City, said, “We should be across the border,” noting that at one time, U.S. agents worked hand-in-hand with Mexico’s federal police and military on arrests, drug seizures and even gun battles. The two countries “were always operational,” the sheriff said.
“The National Guard, they’re not going there with machine guns. … So, why can’t we send the Border Patrol or the military across the border to work in a bilateral situation? I can’t understand why they are afraid of the National Guard in the United States at the border. It doesn’t make sense.”
“But it does make sense. They don’t like anything we’re doing here.”

why the focus was not on Mexico.
“Why doesn’t he have a summit meeting in Mexico City where Mexico is the most critical country regarding all this?” asked Arpaio. “Why do we always leave Mexico out? Why isn’t the Mexican president invited to the White House also?”
Reading a statement from Mexico’s foreign affairs agency calling for the immigration problem to be addressed “from a long-term regional perspective and based on principals of good neighborliness and shared responsibility,” Cavuto suggested Mexico didn’t see the deployment of the National Guard as neighborly.
Arpaio fired back.
“If they were neighborly they would do something in Mexico and crack down on the illegal drug traffic and the illegal immigration instead of criticizing our country all the time. If you want to be a good neighbor that’s what you do.
“I’m not criticizing Mexico in a sense,
but there’s something fishy going on
with this administration in bed with Mexico.”

Arpaio conceded Mexico’s economic importance, but argued the U.S. should take some of the foreign aid given to its southern neighbors to meet the $3.7 billion Obama has requested to address the border crisis.
“Help pay for our operation – that’s good neighbors,” said Arpaio.
Arpaio dismissed concerns putting the National Guard on the border would complicate an already volatile situation.
“What complications?” asked Arpaio. “I have thousands of posse members – in fact, I’m 30 miles from the border. If I was at the border you’d see my posse out there.
“They’re not going to be going around there locking people up. First of all, they don’t have the authority to do that. They’re just assisting, just like my posse assists my people.
Arpaio continued.
“Why is Mexico concerned about the National Guard?
They ought to be happy. … they should say, ‘Come on
National Guard or military. Come on across the border
and help us out,’ instead of criticizing our operations.”

Mexico is not the only one concerned about Perry’s National Guard deployment. The White House announced today it had sent a team to Texas Tuesday to assess whether a U.S. National Guard deployment would help to handle the immigration crisis at the Mexican border.
The team, made up of officials from the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, is scheduled to be on the ground Thursday.
To date, the White House has resisted calls from Republicans to deploy the National Guard to fight the onslaught of migrants from Central America.

Accuses Gaza militants of being Shiites, communists unworthy of help
If the leaders of Hamas were hoping for military or even moral assistance, from their Islamic co-religionists, they’ll have to look somewhere else than this Egyptian cleric. Dismissing the Gaza regime as “Shiites and communists,” Salafi cleric Talaat Zahran blasted the Hamas leaders for hiding underground or in hotels in Lebanon while the citizens of Gaza “get pulverized” by design. “They launch their cardboard missiles against the Jews in order to worry the Jews and ostensibly force them to bomb them,” Zahran said in a July 19 video posted to MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute...

Now, Hamas has released a YouTube video of a song celebrating what it describes as the abduction of Israeli soldier Shaul Oron, who has been missing since last week amid the military conflict in Gaza. The song mocks Oron, Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “You retard, you will accept [our] terms and drink from the cup of humiliation,” the song tells Netanyahu...
» IRS Chief Eviscerated In ‘You Lie!’ Moment
GOP lawmakers accuse agency of deliberate deceit to stage cover-up
In perhaps the most explosive exchange yet in the IRS hearings, a key GOP lawmaker essentially accused the head of the IRS of lying to Congress to cover up the scandal. At issue was why IRS Commissioner John Koskinen had waited from April until June before informing Congress that two years of Lois Lerner’s emails had been lost and that her hard drive had crashed. “My theory is this, Mr. Koskinen, you guys weren’t ever gonna tell us until we caught you,” House Oversight subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, pointedly told Koskinen.

Trey Gowdy Lights Up Obama IRS Commish:
‘Words Have Consequences, Mr. Koskinen!’
‘Words Have Consequences, Mr. Koskinen!’
Lead Story by Jennifer Burke, Tea Party News Network (TPNN) —
After spending years colluding with the IRS in their targeted attack of the Tea Party and months blocking and obfuscating the congressional investigation, Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings called for an end to what he referred to as the “public harassment” of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. Cummings objected to Koskinen being made to appear once again before the House Oversight committee to answer questions regarding Lois Lerner’s hard drive. The IRS claimed that it crashed and was destroyed. However, as TPNN reported yesterday, Lerner’s hard drive was merely ‘scratched’ and the data was recoverable.
Watching Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), who is also the chair of the Select Committee to investigate Benghazi, it’s obvious why Cummings wanted to play protector instead of investigator, as his role on the House Oversight Committee requires.
Gowdy begins his questioning with a simple question. He said, “I’m going to read a quote for you from June 2014 and I want you to tell me if you know who said it. Okay? We confirmed the back up tapes from 2011 no longer existed because they had been recycled pursuant to the IRS normal policy.”
He then asked, “Do you know who said that?”
Koskinen responded, “Sounds like me.”
Gowdy continued with his line of questioning and the failure of the IRS itself to fully investigate the alleged crashing of Lerner’s hard drive, as well as the decision by the government to destroy it with the claim that any data on it was unrecoverable.
Focusing on the word ‘confirmed,’ Gowdy stressed to Koskinen, a major Democrat and Obama donor, that confirmed is a very strong word that should not be used lightly.
In past appearances before the committee, Koskinen has been very condescending and dismissive. Though he attempted these tactics with Gowdy, they did not work.
Trey Gowdy, a former prosecutor, is known to be a masterful interrogator. As he interacted with Koskinen, telling him to watch his words because they have consequences, the Left must be shaking in their boots at the thought of other Obama officials sitting before the House Select Committee on Benghazi subject to Gowdy’s questioning.

‘How many more schools will have to be abused by Hamas missile squads before the international community will intervene?’ Foreign Ministry fumes
For the second time in less than a week, rockets have been found in a school in Gaza operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, the body said. “Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip,” the organization said in a statement issued Tuesday. “As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets. The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons.” ..

The Middle East Problem
Prager University — The Middle East conflict is framed as one of the most complex problems in the world. But, in reality, it's very simple. Israelis want to live in peace and are willing to accept a neighboring Palestinian state. And most Palestinians do not want Israel to exist. As Dennis Prager explains, this is really all you need to know. In 5 minutes, understand how Israel was founded, and how, since that auspicious day in 1948, its neighbors have tried to destroy it, again and again.
