Colonel Peters: Obama ‘Physically Incapable Of Doing What Must Be Done’
Tom Hinchey, Western Journalism — Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters was on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom with Martha MacCallum discussing President Obama’s inaction in Syria and weak attempt to build a coalition to counter the growing threat of ISIL. Peters said that the president will have a difficult time building a coalition because the leaders of other countries do not trust him.“Obama is not going to be able to build a forceful coalition for the simple reason that nobody trusts him. They can’t count on him. He betrayed our east European allies earlier. He let NATO down in Afghanistan. He’s let his allies down in Iraq.”
MacCallum asked the Colonel if he thinks Obama is working on a plan behind the scenes to get other countries to join in because the President “doesn’t want to go it alone.”
“No. I do think he doesn’t want to go it alone. He’s terrified of taking action. This man, whom we elected twice, seems incapable of making difficult decisions, as though it’s some sort of deep psychological problem.”
