James Fox spent five years learning and teaching yoga and other Eastern practices taught by the likes of Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle, named two of the most spiritually influential people on Earth by Watkins Books, a shop in London that has specialized in esoteric (read: occult) titles for over 120 years. James, who founded the Facebook group 33 Degrees of Deception, rejected their influence for the saving grace of Jesus Christ. He explains why, and why he’s concerned about the spread of Eastern mysticism in the American evangelical church.
