Gun Rights Under Threat
By Vic Eliason, VCY America — Larry Pratt is the executive director of Gun Owners of America.Larry stopped by the Crosstalk studios once again to bring listeners an update on Second Amendment rights and the methods being used by the opposition to affect change.
One point discussed included troubling legislation out of New York that would permit the seizing of guns because someone is concerned about them. Larry noted that this is not only an offense against the Second Amendment but also the Fifth Amendment because there's no due process. It's also a violation of the Fourth Amendment because it wouldn't require going to court to have an adversarial proceeding and have a judge and/or jury determine that seizing of the guns would be the proper course of action due to the possibility that this person is a danger to himself/herself or others.
In another case, Bill Gates and other billionaires are bankrolling a controversial gun control initiative that will appear on the November 4th ballot in the state of Washington. Initiative 594 would criminalize any handing over of a firearm to anyone. That includes a son, a neighbor or even a roommate. This means that if you were hunting with your son and you wanted him to hold your gun so that you could tie your shoe laces. the handing over of your gun would make both of you felons under this initiative.

However, after recent comments she made regarding American troops and terrorists, Stewart may find that her Hollywood star and ability to attract viewers has dimmed, if not been extinguished.In her latest film, Camp X-Ray, Stewart plays an MP who forges an unlikely friends with a Guantanamo Bay detainee, Ali after 9/11. Although the film’s director, Peter Sattler, says he wanted the film to be apolitical in nature, that doesn’t seem to be what Stewart took away from it, especially considering comments she made during a recent interview about the movie with the leftist website The Daily Beast....

John Kerry Using PC Name To Refer To Islamic State
Is Kerry using the name “Daesh” because he wants Americans to believe that Islam is a “religion of peace?”

Peter Brown, Western Journalism — Secretary of State John Kerry has been using a more politically correct name to refer to the Islamic State, apparently out of his desire to back his contention that there is “nothing whatsoever about ISIL that is related to Islam.”The name is “Daesh.” Here is one instance of Kerry using Daesh:

(HOUSTON) Officials in Houston, Texas are seeking to obtain copies of sermons delivered by several area pastors after a lawsuit was filed by unrelated Christian leaders whose initiative surrounding a recently passed “bathroom bill” was rejected by city officials.As previously reported, Houston Mayor Annise Parker, an open lesbian, had promoted an “Equal Rights Ordinance” earlier this year designed to quell any discrimination in America’s fourth largest city—including any discrimination on the basis of “gender identity.” Most opponents were especially concerned about the “Public Accommodations” section of the ordinance, which would allow men to use women’s restrooms, and vice versa, if they identity with the opposite sex....

While the vote is unlikely to change government policy, British lawmakers have made a giant political statement.The ayes carried the vote with a total of 274 votes, with only 12 nays. Islamic State, WND — The Islamic State has published an updated version of its propaganda booklet “Dabiq,” that clearly identifies its No. 1 enemy – Christianity.
The cover photo shows a black ISIS flag flying over the Vatican. The booklet describes the terrorist army’s desires to conquer Rome and “break the cross,” according to a report in Arutz Sheva, an independent Israeli news network.
According to some Islamic traditions, the Islamic prophet Mohammed predicted that the occupation of Istanbul, Jerusalem and Rome would pave the way for the Islamic messiah or mahdi....

The World Health Organization warned on Tuesday that the Ebola outbreak has risen by 70% and "there could be up to 10,000 new cases a week in two months." Dr. Bruce Aylward, assistant director-general at the World Health Organization delivered the grim news at a press conference in Geneva.There has been 1,000 new cases a week over the last four weeks and the WHO is trying to get 70% of cases isolated in the next two months to stop the outbreak.
