Michael Savage: ‘They Don’t Know Ebola From Shinola’
“Urges Obama, CDC chief to emulate African nations restricting travel”
WND Exclusive — President Obama’s executive order Thursday to send National Guard and reserve units to Liberia to help contain the Ebola outbreak is yet another indicator that he and officials such as Centers for Disease Control Director Dr. Thomas Frieden are in over their heads, charged talk-radio host Michael Savage.
“Listening to Obama, listening to Frieden, they don’t know Ebola from Shinola,” Savage told his listeners Thursday.
“Every day they change their tune,” he said. “The military itself knows more about Ebola than they do.”
Savage noted that nearly every African government has restricted travel from the three West African nations where the Ebola outbreak originated.
“I suspect they are run by racists,” he quipped. “And I think King Lear Obama should send Eric Holder to Africa as he has to Ferguson, Missouri, to investigate and see if he can bring the FBI against Gambia, Nigeria. He should investigate Togo, Gabon, the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Rwanda, Chad, South Sudan, Namibia, Angola, South Africa, Botswana, Congo, Lesotho, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar.”
There were many more on the list of African nations that have banned travel into the Ebola-stricken countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
The U.S. already has announced plans to send some 4,000 military personnel to West Africa to help contain the virus amid criticism the mission is ill-defined and the troops could bring home Ebola.
As WND reported, Savage recently charged Ebola has entered the U.S. because of Obama’s open-borders policy.
Savage said even Speaker of the House John Boehner is advocating a travel ban, and the liberal New York Daily News is blaring on its front page along with an image of Obama: “For God’s sake, get a grip.”
Savage point out that while Obama and his administration continue to insist Ebola can only be transmitted through direct contact with bodily fluids, U.S. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has acknowledged the virus could mutate and become airborne.
“I have a new respect for General Dempsey, who I think is speaking out because he cares about his troops,” Savage said. “Obama cares about nothing, except himself, so he continues to go on and on about things of which he knows nothing.”
Savage, referring to Frieden, said the president is “being advised by someone who doesn’t know the difference between Ebola and Shinola.”
He noted Frieden, who served as New York City’s health commissioner, was the architect of some of former Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s controversial policies, including the attempt to ban large sodas....

Kerry Blames Rise Of ISIS On Peace Talk Failures

Lea Speyer, Breaking Israel News (BIN) — US Secretary of State John Kerry called for the resumption of peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians on Thursday, arguing that the talks were vital in the fight against Islamic extremism.Speaking at a State Department ceremony marking the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, Kerry said that “it is imperative that we find a way to get back to the negotiations.”
Kerry, who just returned from Egypt where he attended an international conference that raised billions of dollars towards the reconstruction of Gaza, called for both sides to return to the negotiating table.
Kerry added that the ultimate goal of peace talks is “to find a way to create two states that can live together side by side, two peoples, with both of their aspirations being respected.”
“I still believe that’s possible, and I still believe we need to work towards it.”
The secretary insisted that the lack of a “two-state solution” has fueled the rise of the radical Islamist group Islamic State (ISIS).
“There wasn’t a leader I met with in the region who didn’t raise with me spontaneously the need to try to get peace between Israel and the Palestinians, because it was a cause of recruitment and of street anger and agitation,” Kerry said.
The secretary further implied that Israel was responsible to humiliating the Palestinians by denying them a state.
“People need to understand the connection of that. And it has something to do with humiliation and denial of absence of dignity,” he added.
Kerry was the architect behind the resumption of peace talks between July 2013 and April. Ultimately, peace talks collapsed after the Palestinian Authority violated the Oslo Accords by appealing to the international community for statehood and forging a unity government with the Hamas terror group.

(DANIELSVILLE, Georgia) A school board in Georgia has voted unanimously to remove two Scriptures from a sculpture that sits outside of the field house at a local high school after a prominent humanist and atheist organization asserted that the use of the verses violated the U.S. Constitution.The Madison County School Board voted Tuesday night following a nearly two hour hearing over the matter that drew approximately 150-200 area residents, many of whom were present to support the monument’s inclusion of the Bible verses. Three citizens spoke to the board to represent those who believed the sculpture should not be altered to appease those who take issue with the citation of Scripture....

Instead of Implementing Travel Ban, Obama Sending National Guard Troops to Ebola-Infected West Africa
By Todd Cefaratti, TPNN — One of the central problems with Barack Obama’s so-called “leadership” is that he fundamentally values things differently than the rest of most Americans. While most Americans would like a bolstering of economic opportunity, Obama crusades for a perverse brand of social justice that ensures equality of outcome, regardless of efforts or merit.Another problem is simply prioritization; while the majority of Americans want to see the border secured, Obama leads a band of radicals that would rather invite millions of illegals here to vote Democrat and augment the size and role of government.
While Americans want to see ISIS defeated, Obama does not recognize what millions of Americans do: that radical Islam poses a very-real threat to the Western World.
And on the issue of Ebola, most Americans want to feel safe from the deadly disease. However, President Obama invites Ebola into the U.S. by refusing to issue travel restrictions from West Africa where the deadly disease is rampant.
As if that were not bad enough, the President has also committed American troops to West Africa to combat the disease and then, presumably, will welcome back our American soldiers who were placed in harm’s way and who may then have contracted the infectious disease themselves.
On Thursday, President Obama issued yet another executive order that committed National Guard troops to West Africa to help fight the deadly disease. “I am authorizing the secretary of defense and the secretary of homeland security to order the selected reserve and certain members of the individual ready reserve to active duty to augment the active forces in support of Operation United Assistance, providing humanitarian assistance and consequence management related to the Ebola virus disease outbreak in the West Africa region,” Obama wrote in a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner.
“The authorities that have been invoked will ensure the Department of Defense can properly sustain the military operations required in this effort,” he added.
So, to recap: the President will not use troops in the combat capacity for which they have trained, but will use our National Guard abroad in order to aid West Africa.
Further, Obama’s move comes after trained healthcare professionals contracted the deadly disease by coming into contact with an Ebola patient. Still, rather than simply implementing a travel ban from these infected areas, Obama’s solution seems to be to send our American citizens into the disease-ridden area.
While it is certainly understandable to want to lend a hand in the Ebola crisis in West Africa, Obama’s flailing use of the American military indicates a shocking inability to grasp what the military is designed for and what they should be used for....

No kidding. There’s a very real possibility that a soldier would then bring Ebola back to infect his family and other Americans.

I wonder if they were instructed to lose their “frat boy” culture like the Secret Service. Or, maybe they’ve been turned into a Muslim outreach organization like NASA.At any rate, their website currently displays this highlight, “The United States is currently experiencing a nationwide outbreak of enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) associated with severe respiratory illness.” The funny thing is that this virus was historically rare in the United States. The epidemic only became apparent as thousands of illegal immigrant children were allowed to cross the border and then were secretly moved to locations around the country, without telling local authorities....
