Informing And Equipping Americans Who Love Freedom

What Could Soon Be Given To Unsuspecting Florida School Kids
Will Outrage Lots Of Parents

By Norvell Rose — It looks like school officials in Orange County, Florida may have opened the floodgates of controversy in the name of religious freedom.

Recently, Western Journalism told you about the Bible-bashing booklet that will soon be handed out to Florida high school students by an atheist organization — a publication whose front cover depicts a lecherous, cartoon Bible sexually assaulting a screaming woman.

The pamphlet entitled “An X-Rated Book: Sex and Obscenity in the Bible” will be distributed in 11 public high schools in Orange County, Florida. An atheist organization, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), pressured reluctant school officials who eventually agreed to allow the booklet to be handed out to students.

Now, The Satanic Temple is reportedly getting in on the act by asking school officials for the okay to distribute free coloring books to youngsters in Orange County. The group announced its intent to distribute “educational materials” in Florida schools about a month ago, as Western Journalism reported; but only now are details about those materials being disclosed.

The Orlando Sentinel obtained a copy of the coloring book, which features cartoon children performing Satanic rituals and drawing pentagrams.
The children in the book wear Satanic symbols on their shirts and spread anti-bullying and religious tolerance messages. A coloring page features a girl reading in a study filled with Satanic art, books and symbols. A connect-the-dots sheet creates a pentagram.
The newspaper article explains that the Satanic Temple is a national group that has formed an alliance with atheist organizations such as the Freedom From Religion Foundation to counter the practice of allowing the in-school distribution of Bibles and other religious texts.
“To be sure, if our materials are consistent with their standards, they can’t simply deny our literature because of its religious viewpoint,” said a Satanic Temple spokesman who goes by the name Lucien Greaves. “If the open forum for distribution goes forward, The Satanic Temple will be there,” he said Monday about the Orange County effort.
The Satanic Temple created quite a stir a few months ago with their ongoing efforts to erect a Satanic monument at the Oklahoma State Capitol....

Former Marine Banned From Daughter’s School
After Dispute Over Islam Lesson
Fox News —
A former Marine who served in Iraq says he's been banned from his daughter's Maryland high school after a heated argument over a lesson on Islam. Kevin Wood told MyFoxDC.com that he went to La Plata High School in La Plata, a town about 30 miles southeast of Washington, and challenged a history assignment requiring students to list the benefits of Islam. He said the meeting with the vice principal got heated; the school said he made a threat and banned the Iraq veteran from school property.

"We cannot discuss our Ten Commandments in school but they can discuss Islam's Five Pillars?"...

Gang of Eight Republicans Discourage Obama
Against Executive Amnesty
By Caroline May, Breitbart —
Three of the Republicans who worked to push comprehensive immigration reform through the Senate last year are calling on President Obama to refrain from taking executive action on immigration reform. In a letter to Obama Thursday, Sens. John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) urged Obama not to offer amnesty to illegal immigrants until the southern border is secure and immigration law is effectively enforced.

“It is our view, along with many of our colleagues and a majority of the American people, that no action should be taken to legalize undocumented immigrants who are living and working in the United States until we have properly secured our southern border and provided for effective enforcement of immigration laws,” the trio wrote. “Moreover, the need to secure our southern border and effectively enforce the law has been underscored – not diminished – by recent developments at home and abroad of which you are well aware.”...

Confirmed: Non-Citizen Voters Boosting Democrats
Blockbuster study backs claim illegal ballots behind Obama’s 2008 victory
By Bob Unruh, WND —
A new study puts numbers behind the claim that the votes of non-U.S. citizens in the 2008 presidential election handed the White House to Barack Obama. The study authored by Jesse T. Richman, Gulshan A. Chattha and David C. Earnest, who are affiliated with Old Dominion and George Mason Universities, found the number of non-citizen voters “could range from just over 38,000 at the very minimum to nearly 2.8 million at the maximum.”

Of the non-citizens who voted in 2008, the study found “81.8 percent reported voting for Barack Obama compared to 17.5 percent for John McCain.” The tendency of non-citizens to vote for Democrats was confirmed two years later....

Poll: Voters Worried About Economy,
Healthcare, Unhappy With Obama
Newsmax —
Social issues are eclipsed by concerns about the economy, healthcare, the Islamic State group and Ebola, the poll finds. And hovering over each of these individual issues is a broad dissatisfaction with President Barack Obama and Republican leaders in Congress.

Only 32 percent of likely voters called gay marriage an important issue, compared with 91 percent ranking the economy important, 78 percent with similar concerns about healthcare and 74 percent naming Ebola important. The issue that some Democrats have emphasized most of all — abortion rights — also has been a relatively low priority, with only 43 percent of likely voters in a September poll ranking it important....

Churches Push Back Against Warning Not To Talk Politics
“And as for your solicitude regarding our legal well-being,
I ask that you shove it up your fat white a___.”

By Bradford Thomas, Ben Shapiro’s Truth Revolt —
Earlier this month Americans United for Separation of Church and State sent out 84,000 letters to church leaders to warn them against speaking about politics from the pulpit according to IRS tax-exempt restrictions. Responses so far have not been so enthusiastic.

AU says they attempted to be "respectful" in their reminder and claim they are merely trying to protect organizations' tax exempt status. In a blog post the group’s assistant director of communications, Simon Brown, explained that they only want churches to "follow the rules" and "stay out of partisan politics":
“We merely want houses of worship to follow the rules, stay out of partisan politics and keep their tax exemption. And when we explain to clergy what the law requires, we do so in a respectful way.”
Despite their "respectful" tone, the church and state watchdog told The Blaze that they’ve already received about 45 fiery responses, and expect more in the days to come.

One church sent back AU's letter with the simple statement “Drop Dead” written in marker across it....

Jesus Privately Briefing His Inner Circle of Disciples
Regarding The Last Days
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. ~ Matthew 24:3-14
