Heyes, Natural News — Immigration or, more correctly, President Obama's threatened executive action to legalize millions of people who came into the country illegally -- factored in heavily in a number of House and Senate races around the country ahead of the Nov. 4 midterm elections: As in, a majority of Americans hate the idea, and candidates running on an anti-amnesty platform are surging in the polls.That said, reports continue to surface that Obama is planning to carry out his earlier threats to act on his own regarding amnesty. In the meantime, the administration is doing as little as possible to enforce existing immigration law, and that includes a) refusing to deport those who are caught in the United States illegally; and b) withholding the names of those who are released into American cities.
During a recent appearance on Fox's Your World With Neil Cavuto, Pinal County, Arizona, Sheriff Paul Babeu said the administration has not just "knowingly lied" about releasing illegal alien criminals into American society, but the Department of Homeland Security -- which oversees federal immigration agencies -- also is refusing to release the names of those criminals so law enforcement personnel can protect American citizens.
In a letter sent to DHS Assistant Secretary John Morton more than a year ago, Babeu says he tried to get the names of criminals released just in his county but has so far gotten nothing in response.
"I need to protect the citizens of my county and God knows where these individuals are," Babeu told Cavuto. "And they have a greater propensity for recidivism, the return to crime, because they're not even from our country. And they have committed some of the most egregious crimes of murder and armed robbery and assault against a cop."
Tens Of Thousands Of Criminal Aliens Being Released
Babeu's concerns are valid because, according to the government's own figures, the number of criminal aliens being released is substantial. According to a report by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), ICE -- Immigration and Customs Enforcement -- released tens of thousands of them last year:
In 2013, ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal aliens from detention who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings, according to a document obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies. This group included aliens convicted of hundreds of violent and serious crimes, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.
Of those released, the CIS said, more than 16,000 had been convicted of drunk driving or driving while under the influence of drugs. The CIS said that, based on ICE statistics, the vast majority of the releases were discretionary -- in other words, they were not required by law.
"In fact," the CIS said, "in some instances, apparently contrary to law."
The releases also were not the result of local "sanctuary" policies -- when local officials have decided to let their cities serve as sanctuaries for illegal aliens.
ICE Officials Lied To Congress?
"The document reveals that the 36,007 convicted criminal aliens freed from ICE custody in many instances had multiple convictions. Among them, the 36,007 had nearly 88,000 convictions," the CIS said, quoting ICE statistics. See the full CIS report here.
In a separate story, Breitbart News and USA Today reported that last year -- when Obama administration officials told Congress and the public that 2,200 criminal aliens released by the federal government had only minor infractions -- in reality, some of the illegal immigrants had been charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, drug trafficking and even homicide, according to ICE figures.
Breitbart News reported further:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had told Congress that the inmates who were released were "low-risk offenders who do not have serious criminal records." Records reveal that ICE was readying itself for budget cuts in February 2013 when it released the immigrants, only two-thirds of whom had no criminal records....

It was a bold move that had never been tried. Leaders of the Episcopal cathedral said sending prayers up to Allah from a Christian church would show the world that two religions at odds with each other for centuries could “approach the same God” as one body of believers.

The stage was set. The prayer rugs were neatly arranged facing Mecca. The lights shone down on the imam for his opening remarks.
Not so fast.
Christine Weick, a 50-year-old Michigan woman with flowing blonde hair who lives out of her car, rose from the packed National Cathedral, the hall of halls in terms of religious prominence in America, and moved toward the front of the church.
She pointed to the cross hanging overhead.
That cross seemed to be the one thing nobody wanted to look at, she told WND Saturday in an exclusive interview.
The Muslims had set up their prayer rugs in such a way that their backs were turned on the cross, which they consider an alien religious symbol. Jesus was a prophet but was not the son of God and never died on a Roman cross, according to Muslim teaching. Yet, they found themselves staring at a woman who demanded the cross become the center of attention. She then blurted out the message she had traveled all the way from Tennessee to deliver.
“Jesus Christ died on that cross. It is the reason we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,” she said. “We have built enough of your mosques in this country. Why don’t you worship in your mosques and leave our churches alone?”
She immediately heard voices in the crowd yelling for security.
“Black coat, white scarf, blonde hair!” yelled one. “We need to get her out of here now!” someone else cried out.
“They were yelling for security, and by that point I was already done saying what I came to say,” Weick told WND.
She was promptly escorted out of the sanctuary by two men in suits, who handed her off to a police officer.

NTEB News Desk — The Islamic State – ISIS – has recruited an army hundreds of thousands strong, far larger than previous estimates by the CIA, according to a senior Kurdish leader. He said the ability of Isis to attack on many widely separated fronts in Iraq and Syria at the same time shows that the number of militant fighters is at least 200,000, seven or eight times bigger than foreign intelligence estimates of up to 31,500 men.Fuad Hussein, the chief of staff of the Kurdish President Massoud Barzani said in an exclusive interview with The Independent on Sunday that “I am talking about hundreds of thousands of fighters because they are able to mobilise Arab young men in the territory they have taken.”
He estimates that Isis rules a third of Iraq and a third of Syria with a population of between 10 and 12 million living in an area of 250,000 square kilometres, the same size as Great Britain. This gives the jihadis a large pool of potential recruits.
Proof that Isis has created a large field army at great speed is that it has been launching attacks against the Kurds in northern Iraq and the Iraqi army close to Baghdad at the same time as it is fighting in Syria. “They are fighting in Kobani,” said Mr Hussein. “In Kurdistan last month they were attacking in seven different places as well as in Ramadi [capital of Anbar province west of Baghdad] and Jalawla [an Arab-Kurdish town close to Iranian border]. It is impossible to talk of 20,000 men or so.”
The high figure for Isis’s combat strength is important because it underlines how difficult it will be eliminate Isis even with US air strikes. In September, the CIA produced an estimate of Isis numbers which calculated that the movement had between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters. The underestimate of the size of the force that Isis can deploy may explain why the US and other foreign governments have been repeatedly caught by surprise over the past five months as IS inflicted successive defeats on the Iraqi army, Syrian army, Syrian rebels and Kurdish peshmerga.

The speaker does not refer to it as Saudi Arabia, since this is a name derived from the ruling tribe, the al-Saud, whose authority IS does not accept....Once again, all of this shows just how detrimental Turkey’s inclusion in NATO is. The U.S. is bound by the terms of the NATO alliance. No matter how evil Turkey is revealed to be, the U.S. is duty-bound to defend Turkey as long as it is a NATO partner.
What no one of consequence is willing to admit is that this particular NATO partner is in bed with ISIS and should be expelled from NATO immediately if not sooner....
