“Every kingdom divided against itself
is brought to desolation;
and a house divided against a house falleth.”
is brought to desolation;
and a house divided against a house falleth.”
Jesus Christ, Luke 11:17
Jesse Lee grew up on a plantation in Alabama. He moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 years old and began listening to civil rights leaders like Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and others who said that white people were against blacks and that they were trying to hold blacks back. Since these men were influential adult leaders in the black community he believed their lies and that's when he began to think and feel the same way that many blacks feel today.
Eventually he began to question things. He felt that if white people were holding him back because he's black why was that fact not holding Jesse Jackson or his family back. This led him to ask God to let him see what really was holding him back. God showed Jesse Lee that he had anger rooted in his relationship with his parents. He repented of that, forgave his parents for their failings and the anger, doubt, fear and worry disappeared along with the emptiness he felt, an emptiness that God filled with love. It was at that point that he was able to see that he had been brainwashed by those in the black community that he trusted the most. Eventually he came to see that white racism isn't the problem. The problem is the destruction of the family.
While Jesse Lee is certainly aware of black-on-black physical crime that takes place, he also noted the spiritual crimes that black-on-black leaders are inflicting upon other blacks. This occurs when black leaders tell the black community that white people are the problem. He communicated that the moment blacks become angry with white individuals and judge them, that anger kills the spirit. Jesse Lee believes that black leaders from President Obama to Eric Holder and others are guilty of perpetrating this spiritual crime that separates individuals from God.
Jesse Lee also presents his views on the Michael Brown shooting, if he feels most blacks are in greater bondage or freedom since Barack Obama became president, why he feels the goal of most black leaders is to control and use blacks to attain political power and financial gain and more.
