Spiritual Warfare: “We cannot do anything, without Jesus we can do nothing.” The Bible does not have any suggestions but commandments. Corrie ten Boom shares on the subject of spiritual warfare through her experience and the scriptures. We must have Jesus as our foundation and only support we stand on as we contend and resist the demons and the evil one in this earth.
About the Speaker
CORNELIA “CORRIE” TEN BOOM (Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 15 April 1892 – Placentia, California, United States, 15 April 1983) Concentration Camp Survivor was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and other family members, helped many Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II and was imprisoned for it. Her most famous book, The Hiding Place, describes the ordeal where she smuggled Jewish people during the great World Wars under the Nazi regime. She had a vibrant faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that showed in her love for others especially the people of Israel. She ended up going to a concentration camp where she suffered greatly and survived to share the story of faith.Corrie’s faith story and testimony was shared in many settings especially in the 60-70’s where she toured all across North America encouraging Christians of how to endure coming persecution. Her ministry was to encourage faith and love in the hardest circumstances.
