Obama is trying to create a top down government,
instead of leaving governing to individual communities.
By Kristina Hall — Today President Obama along with VP Joe Biden and Attorney General Eric Holder met with seven Black and Latino organizers from around the country.These organizers are some of the new found leaders causing the disruption of daily life. A site called fergusonaction.com stated in a blog piece written that -
The young leaders conveyed the experience of a traumatized community in Ferguson, where police have terrorized peaceful protesters with pointed guns, rubber bullets, chemical agents, bean bags and menacing threats. They further discussed the routine harassment and violence that many police departments inflict on countless communities of color across America, and their demands for the federal government to hold police departments that use excessive force accountable.What is hard to understand is that this community has been terrorized by these very leaders who helped to incite the violent riots that took place for several nights after the Grand Jury announcement was handed down on Officer Darren Wilson. President Obama and his minions have created these new civil rights leaders out of fear from what happened during the November 2016 elections, they do not care one bit about these protesters. What they care about is the fact that they (Obama’s Regime) are losing the grip they had on the Black, Latino and youth vote. This is more than obvious with just a few of the November 4th election results. Georgia had a 10% increase in Black votes for Republicans and as high as 15% just among Black males. Florida’s Governor Rick Scott more than doubled his Black turnout from 2010 and Ohio’s Governor Kasich had a Black turnout of 25%. If Obama and the Democrats do not do something to drastically shift opinion, they will lose in 2016 not matter who they put up.
Here is a taste of what was on the agenda at the White House today:
• The federal government using its power to prosecute police officers that kill or abuse people.Attendees included:
(The federal government already has the power to do this.)
• Removing local district attorneys from the job of holding police accountable, and instead having independent prosecutors at the local level charged with prosecuting officers.
(Again, local communities already have the power to make just moves.)
• The establishment of community review boards that can make recommendations for police misconduct, instead of allowing police departments to police themselves.
(Most communities in America already have these very review boards in place.)
• Defunding local police departments that use excessive force or racially profile. Instead of having the Department of Justice (DOJ) wholesale giving more than $250 million to local police departments annually, DOJ should only fund departments that agree to adopt DOJ best practices for training and meaningful community input.
(This is just bribery at best and extortion at worst.)
• The demilitarization of local police departments.
(Majority of American can get behind this one!)
• Investing in programs that provide alternatives to incarceration, such as community-led restorative justice programs and community groups that educate people about their rights.
(You already have groups like Restore The Dram 2015 going into these communities advocating just this. RTD civil rights leaders Dr Alveda King and Niger Innis have been in Ferguson meeting with the Commissioner and Police Chief advocating lifting fines on non-violent crimes.)
