Justin Koski — Iraqi War veteran and Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, joined Greta Van Susteren on Fox News’ On The Record to discuss why the Obama administration refuses to utter the words “Islamic extremism.”

“This is not just about words, it’s not just about semantics,” Gabbard said. “It’s really about having a real, true understanding of who our enemy is and how important that is, that we have to understand what their motivation is and what their ideology is – the radical Islamic ideology that is fueling them.”

She stood firmly on the notion that identifying the terrorists’ ideology is paramount in defeating them.

“It’s a real problem because of a very simple reason, actually,” Gabbard said. “And that is something that I learned that is military 101, but something that’s easy for everyone to understand, and that is if you are at war, which we are, you have to know who your enemy is in order to defeat them.

“You’ve got to recognize what’s fueling them, what’s motivating them, what are their strategies and tactics that they’re using in order to be able to defeat them and prevent them from attacking the American people,” she concluded....

The topic arose during Wednesday’s press briefing over the Jordanian government’s agreeing to trade a convicted terrorist for the release of an air force pilot held by the Islamic State. ABC News’ Jon Karl asked how this differs from the U.S. decision to swap Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban leaders at Guantanamo Bay — returning them “to the Taliban, which is clearly a terrorist organization.”...

“I don’t think that the Taliban, um — uh – the Taliban is an armed insurgency,” Schultz said. “This was the winding down of the war in Afghanistan, and that’s why this arrangement was dealt.”...

News Outlets Slammed For Ignoring Massive Pro-Life Event

WND Exclusive — An estimated 200,000 people joined in a March for Life in Washington, D.C., bringing to the streets in front of Congress their plea for protection of the unborn.

It was double the number of people that go to even the biggest football games or indoor concerts.

Yet the establishment media was virtually absent.

WND Editor and CEO Joseph Farah has joined with Media Research Center and more than 20 pro-life groups in denouncing the establishment TV networks for failing to cover this year’s March for Life, held last week.

According to MRC, CBS was the only major broadcast network that covered the march – and the coverage was limited to 15 seconds during a discussion of moderate Republican opposition to the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

In the meantime, NBC, ABC and Spanish-language networks Univision and Telemundo did not mention the march at all.

“It’s not surprising when the big media ignore large gatherings in Washington – year after year – of hundreds of thousands of pro-life activists, but it is unprofessional and betrays their absolute bias,” Farah said....

Immigration Policy Leaves One Dead In Arizona

By Vivian Hughbanks, Townhall — A man accused of shooting a convenience store employee in Mesa, Arizona last Thursday was facing deportation proceedings for two years, authorities announced Tuesday.

After being convicted for facilitating a second-degree burglary, 29-year-old Apolinar Altamirano was released on a $10,000 bond in January 2013, the Arizona Republic reports. Since then, Altamirano, who has claimed ties to the Mexican Mafia, has been the subject of two separate injunctions for harassment because of death threats, but has not been detained:
“Mr. Altamirano's removal case was still pending with the immigration courts at the time of his most recent arrest,” the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a statement released Monday.
Altamirano is now accused of angrily shooting 21-year-old Grant Ronnebeck, a QT store clerk, as Ronnebeck attempted to count money for cigarettes. ...

While reports vary, at least three protesters were reportedly killed and many more wounded, with other sources reporting that even more civilians have been massacred by UN “peacekeepers” amid the recent unrest. In fact, as The New American reported in early 2013, UN-backed military forces in Mali have also been involved in widespread summary executions and mass human-rights abuses directed at the civilian population. Morgan, who claims keeping Muslims out of her Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range is a matter of public safety and not a constitutional issue, says she made the decision in September after two customers she deemed suspicious visited. She said their furtive behavior and cellphone ringtones of “Allahu Akhbar” prompted her to revise her range’s policies.
"We are dealing in lethal firearms," Morgan told FoxNews.com. "I’m not going to let a Nazi shoot in here, or a Ku Klux Klan member in here, either."

Morgan decides to keep Muslims out based on their names.

Both Attorney General Eric Holder and CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations are on the case. The ACLU has also stepped in.

Morgan says her business has "quadrupled" and people visit the gun range from out of town and offer her donations to help with possible, future legal battles. She's even received threats, to "which she responded to by posting her home address on the range website and daring those issuing threats to do so in person."

It is ironic that the left today wish to critique the movie “American Sniper,” the story of a true patriot and hero, along with the struggles of a military family handling four difficult tours of duty in Iraq. At the same time the left and our President are trying to cover up the desertion of sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, which not only exposes the President as a fool but a traitor too. If we recall, that the decision to release five high-caliber Taliban terrorists for this deserter was done without consultation with Congress. Why? It is obvious that the President knew even at the time that Bergdahl was a deserter and even if he were not, the terrorist monsters that Obama was proposing to release at the time would have had major pushback not only from the Republicans but the Democrats too....
