Top 50 List Of Christian Persecutors
Islam Spawns Biggest Spike In Violence Against Believers On Record

By Greg Corombos — As the Western world stands in shock at the brutal murder of magazine employees and police officers by radical Muslims in Paris, the new World Watch List suggests Islamic violence throughout the world is spawning the most significant increase in the persecution of Christians on record and that likely means more intense repression of all kinds is not far behind.

On Wednesday, Open Doors USA, one of the leading organizations serving the persecuted Christian church released the 24th World Watch List, which lists the 50 nations most fiercely persecuting Christians.

“The 2015 Watch List documents the most dramatic increase in violence and persecution of Christians in the modern era. So it’s really dramatic,” said Open Doors President and CEO Dr. David Curry.

Curry unveiled the World Watch List in Washington, but he is very concerned that leaders in the U.S. and elsewhere in the Western world fail to grasp the significance of this dramatic rise in the targeting of Christians and what it means for believers and nonbelievers down the road.

“I really feel like the world just doesn’t get it,” Curry said. “They don’t understand that the persecution of Christians is a major story, is a major issue. It’s growing, and it’s a lead indicator of where oppression is coming for everyone else. Everywhere you look where there’s a major outbreak in the world today, first it was Christians. That’s what happened in Iraq. For 10 years, they pushed Christians out (even before the rise of the Islamic State).”

He added, “Mark my words: If the world doesn’t wake up to this, it’s going to come their direction.”

Listen to the WND/Radio America interview with Dr. David Curry:

Several African nations witnessed the most dramatic increases in Christian persecution over the past year. Kenya soared from 43 to 19 on the list. Djibouti rose from 46 to 24. Nigeria is now in the top 10, and Sudan jumped from 11 to 6. Curry said the reasons are pretty simple.

“The Islamic extremists that have been residing within Africa are learning the lessons of the Islamic State. They’re taking the tactics, the strategies of the Islamic State, and seeing the success that they’ve had with this leadership vacuum in the Middle East from Western governments. Now they’re implementing it in Africa,” said Curry, who said America was reminded again that no part of the world is truly safe.

“We’re not safe in the West from radical ideologies,” he said. “Unfortunately, I believe in times to come, we’re going to see attacks on churches in the West. We are seeing attacks in the West already. We saw one today in France.”

As horrifying as Wednesday’s massacre was inside and outside the offices of “Charlie Hebdo” in Paris, Curry said that is a daily occurrence for believers in many countries.

“Just to put it in a little bit of perspective, we’re mourning today the loss of 12 lives in France at the satirical magazine,” he said. “Boko Haram kills 10 Christians every single day. If you average it out last year, every day Boko Haram executed 10 Christians.”

Other noteworthy items on the list includes a drop from six to 12 for Saudi Arabia, but Curry said that’s no reason to be encouraged about religious freedom there.

“There’s no freedom for Christians,” he said. “There’s no churches allowed for Christians. There’s no distribution of Bibles or freedom for people to convert to Christianity if they so choose. People can’t think for themselves and decide for themselves whether they’re going to have faith or no faith and what that faith will be. It’s a sad state of affairs in Saudi Arabia. They did drop, only because other nations were even more violent and even more oppressive than Saudi Arabia this year.”

North Korea tops the list for the 13th straight year, while Somalia comes in second. Curry said North Korea is far and away the worst persecutor of Christians, and the conditions are actually much worse than the World Watch List suggests.

“Frankly, we have a difficult time documenting all the violence,” he said. “We only report in the World Watch List what we can absolutely document. So when we say the number of Christians executed for their faith has doubled in the last year, many of the people who we believe were killed in North Korea are not even included in that number.”

Two nations in the Western hemisphere made the list. Colombia dropped from 25 to 35, but Mexico joined the list at number 38. Curry said the rampant violence aimed at priests and pastors by drug cartels is the main reason why.

Even as persecution reaches undocumented heights, Curry said the positive and peaceful mindset of oppressed believers is truly inspiring.

“What’s so heartwarming is the human side of it,” he said. “I was just talking with a widow today. She was widowed because Boko Haram attacked her husband, a Christian who was a lay minister in the church. They stabbed him to death, and her response was so loving. It was just to forgive in the name of Jesus.”

Curry added, “When you see the power of the human spirit when people are following the words of Jesus, it’s so inspiring. So there’s hope because God gives hope, but these situations are very dire in human terms.”...

The Mark Levin Show
Every magazine and newspaper in America
should print those cartoons from Charlie Hebdo

Broadcast Synopsis — On Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, Mark Levin Show: We're in a religious war throughout the Middle East and all around the world in the wake of a terrorist attack on a French magazine. Every magazine and newspaper in America should print those cartoons from Charlie Hebdo. It's time for the media and journalists to take a stand, but they're too afraid; they won't even stand up to a tyrannical president. President Obama is setting us up for a terrorist hit through a lack of border control, no profiling and an anti-cop mentality. Later, John Boehner is one of the worst speakers in American history, yet Rep. Mick Mulvaney and other Boehner supporters are slamming the conservatives who voted against Boehner. Mulvaney calls it a coup attempt and a mutiny despite 60% of Republicans wanting a different speaker. He's afraid people will think he sold out his conservative ideals by voting for Boehner - because he did. Mulvaney claimed that he voted with the group of conservatives two years ago to prevent Boehner from being Speaker, but he never voted at all. Mr. Mulvaney, you have a lot of explaining to do.

John Kerry’s ‘MODERATE’ French Imam Threatened Would-Be Cartoonists Who Mocked Mohammed During Danish Cartoon Crisis

By Patrick Poole, PJ Tatler — Earlier today Bridget Johnson here at PJ Media noted John Kerry’s shout-out to Dalil Boubakeur, the head of the French Muslim Council and one of the largest mosques in Paris. Boubakeur told Le Figaro that today’s attack targeting those who worked for the French magazine Charlie Hebdo was “a thunderous declaration of war.”

Bridget noted that Kerry hailed “the French iman who today called the slain journalists martyrs for liberty.”

Er, just one problem.

As noted earlier today by French bloggers, in 2006 at the height of the Danish Cartoon crisis, Boubakeur had published an article denouncing the cartoons and concluded by issuing a warning to all those — including Charlie Hebdo — who would publish caricatures of Mohammed, saying: “He who sows the whirlwind shall reap the whirlwind.”

Undoubtedly, Boubakeur is yet another graduate of the State Department’s vaunted “vetted moderate” program.

This incident is reminiscent of the Huffington Post promoting last August a so-called “fatwa against terrorism” issued after 9/11 that was signed by individuals who had been designated terrorists by the U.S. government.

A similar fatwa was issued in the U.S. in 2005 by the Fiqh Council of North America, whose signatories included my former neighbor, Salah Sultan, who is currently in prison in Egypt on terrorism charges and has a long history of openly supporting terrorism.

The moral of the story is: beware of self-proclaimed “moderates” — especially ones promoted by the Obama administration — following terror attacks....

Muslims Kill 12 In Paris
For Printing Muhammad Picture

CleanTV: Family-Friendly Television and Video On Demand

Partial Transcript: Muslims murdered 12 people in Paris at the headquarters of satirical magazine for merely publishing a picture of Muhammad.

To say that things have gotten out of hand with Muslims murdering innocent people is an understatement. What on earth gives Muslims the right to kill secretaries in an office just doing their job? Most of the victims probably didn't know the first thing about Islam and their do's and don'ts. So are all people of earth supposed to know every word written in the Koran so that they don't accidentally infringe upon some of its rules such as the commandment that forbids showing a picture of Muhammad? That's patently ridiculous and quite counter-intuitive since pictures of the Pope, the Virgin Mary and Jesus are ubiquitous worldwide. ... read full transcript here

Guess What ‘Religion Of Peace’ Obama DID NOT Reference
In His Statement On The Jihadist Attack In Paris…

By Greg Campbell, TPNN— On Wednesday, three gunmen with AK-47s murdered 12 innocent people in cold blood for having committed the grievous “sin” of having depicted Muhammad, the Islamic prophet, in the satire newspaper, Charlie Hebdo.

These gunmen, who spoke French without any hint of an accent, shouted, “Allahu Akbar,” Arabic for “God is great,” and were heard saying, “We’ve avenged the honor of the prophet!”

While not all who are Islam are violent, it is purely undeniable that a twisted interpretation of the Koran too-often compels too-many believers to engage in Jihad- violence against non-Muslims- on behalf of this religion that the left is hellbent on defending as a supposed “religion of peace.”

At a time when the Western world should be outright condemning this attack and calling upon Islamic religious leaders to set an example by similarly condemning violence in the name of Allah, President Obama tip-toed around the fact that this act of violence was carried out in the name of Islam.

In his statement “condemning” the attack, Obama stated:
“I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time. France is America’s oldest ally, and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world. Time and again, the French people have stood up for the universal values that generations of our people have defended. France, and the great city of Paris where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers. We are in touch with French officials and I have directed my Administration to provide any assistance needed to help bring these terrorists to justice.”
What words were absent from this plain, canned faux-outrage?

Give up?

German Interior Minister:
Charlie Hebdo Murders Have Nothing To Do With Islam

By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch — “The extremist Islamism, Islamist terrorism, is something quite different from the Islam. And this differentiation is urgently needed just on a day like today.” On such fictions people like Thomas de Mazière have staked the future of the West and free societies everywhere. If only he were right.

“Germany not sure? De Maizière warns against panic-mongering,” News Directory, January 7, 2015 (thanks to David):

Berlin – According to the German police union (DPolG) is the Federal Republic not safe from terrorist attacks. It lacked a long-term strategy, the criticism. Interior Minister Thomas de Mazière warns, however, against panic-mongering.

Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière (CDU) after the attack, suspected Islamists in Paris with at least twelve dead from fear-mongering in Germany warned. “We have no indication for similar attack plans in Germany or concrete evidence of terrorist motivated attacks in general in Germany,” said the Secretary. “The situation is serious. There is reason for concern and as a precaution, but not to panic.” Before the background of the demonstrations of anti-Islamic Pegida movement said De Maizière: “The extremist Islamism, Islamist terrorism, is something quite different from the Islam[.] And this differentiation is urgently needed just on a day like today.”....

Why Muslim Terror Attack In France Will Help Anti-Islam Politicians
And Hurt Socialist Politicians

By Ben Barrack, Shoebat.com — In 2004, the Madrid train bombings in Spain shockingly seemed to helped the socialist candidate José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero win the election for Prime Minister three days later. It didn’t make sense that the more conservative government of José María Aznar would actually suffer defeat due to a terror attack; it didn’t fit the model. Right-wing leaders were supposed to do better in times like that.

Upon further examination, there is a reason for the perceived anomaly. Perhaps this one paragraph from an article in the UK Guardian published shortly after the attacks tells the story. About Zapatero’s victory, it said:
His Socialist party ousted the Spanish government yesterday after voters appeared to turn on the party of José María Aznar, the outgoing prime minister, in the wake of last week’s suspected al-Qaida attack on Madrid commuter trains and a perceived lack of information on those responsible for it.
Coupled with Zapatero’s pledge to remove Spanish troops from Iraq, Aznar either didn’t seem to grasp the true nature of the problem of didn’t want to level with the Spanish people. Either way, he failed to identify the problem; THAT’s the difference.

In France, the stock of a political party leader named Marine Le Pen has been rising recently. Her party has done well in elections and she’s gaining in popularity by following the Geert Wilders model. The terror attacks in France at the offices of a satirical magazine are not resulting in support for left-wing President Francois Hollande, who is the one in denial. It is Le Pen who has identified the problem in her country – Islamic immigration.

Here is what Bloomberg reported about her reaction to the attacks:
France’s Front National leader Marine Le Pen pinned the blame for the killing of 12 people in Paris yesterday on Islamic radicals, as mainstream leaders tried to downplay the religious dimension of the attack.

While President Francois Hollande called for national unity in an attempt to deter the public from demonizing the country’s 5-million strong Muslim community, Le Pen said France has to confront the beliefs of the gunmen who stormed the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

“Time’s up for denial and hypocrisy,” Le Pen, who has railed against immigration, said in a video posted on her party’s website. “The absolute rejection of Islamic fundamentalism must be proclaimed loudly and clearly.”

The lessons voters draw from the deadliest attack on French soil since World War II will shape the political debate as the country looks toward the 2017 election. Hollande, the most unpopular president in modern history, is struggling to make up ground on Le Pen, who’s seen her support surge as she blames immigrants for France’s near-record unemployment and deepening inequalities....

Jesus Privately Briefing His Inner Circle of Disciples
Regarding The Last Days
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. ~ Matthew 24:3-14
