Bert Farias, The Flaming Herald, Charisma News —Let’s not fool ourselves. The greatest persecution against the church in America is coming from the gay movement and Islam. Indeed it has spread into other parts of the world.
Let's turn our eyes toward the church and consider the many casualties that are a sobering part of the history of this spiritual war that rages against men's souls. Knowing that his time is short, there is no doubt that Satan has intensified his efforts to entice Christ's followers to compromise with sin and the world.
More churches are jumping on the gay bandwagon, and it will soon shock you those who are yet to do so. Major denominations are now sponsoring gay pride parades, performing gay weddings, and receiving and ordaining gay clergy. Such churches are a coveted prize for Satan. Many who once served the Lord, but have since departed from the faith through the seduction of demonic doctrines are trophies of hell.
More churches will also travel on the false unity trail with the Roman Catholic Church and the whole ecumenical movement. They too have become a showcase prize for Satan and trophies of hell.
Statistics also tell us that more than 1,500 pastors per month are leaving the ministry, and some are coming out as atheists. British scientist and atheist Richard Dawkins has a clergy project that is deceiving pastors into renouncing God and Christianity altogether. Former pastors turning atheist are like Demas, a once faithful disciple (Colossians 4:14), but then lured by the world (2 Timothy 4:14), deserting their godly associations, have also become casualties of war and trophies of hell.
The teaching of false grace has infiltrated the church where the extremes of it are opening the door even wider for homosexuality and perversion to enter the church. Marriages will be further destroyed through this extreme teaching. More trophies of hell.
There will even be more persecution from within the church from other professing Christians who don’t appreciate true believers standing up for the unadulterated truth of God’s Word, making them uncomfortable in their sin. Unchecked sin in the church will continue to rise as the “love everyone—don't judge” mantra continues to gain popularity, and the “do as you please” philosophy spreads like cankerworm.
All those who compromise are also to be considered the chief prize of Satan and potential trophies of hell.
These modern day examples cause us to think of Adam and Eve, Cain, Esau, Samson, Solomon, many of Israel's ancient kings, Judas and some of Paul's companions who lost out with God. They remind us of the churches in Revelation who compromised, backslid, grew cold, and were disapproved and some disqualified by the Lord.
The Bible is full of good news, but it is also full of bad news and severe warnings, tragic endings and examples of those who did not heed the word of the Lord.
These examples sound a lot like Paul's admonitions for the Church to learn from Israel's failures with whom God was not well pleased (1 Corinthians 10:1-11).
Here are his warnings:
Do not crave evil things as Israel did.
Do not be idolaters.
Do not act immorally.
Do not tempt the Lord.
Do not grumble.
Then later on in this same chapter Pauls stern tone seems to intensify. “You cannot drink of the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons!”
Duke University is among the latest institution that almost drank the Kool-Aid.
They have since recanted on their recent announcement that every Friday from their chapel bell tower they will have a Muslim call to prayer. Thank God Duke supporters and alumni spoke up immediately and this policy was reversed.
If it had not been reversed, the door to other colleges and universities in America would've undoubtedly followed suit and opened their campuses wider to what is now being referred to, at least by those who have been enlightened, as the religion of death. I'm afraid this decision however is only a delay, because the inevitable will happen. Islam will spread, and with it more acts of terrorism and death. These are the last days. It shouldn't surprise us because Jesus told us these things would happen.
Our only hope is in the glory of God shining upon His consecrated people. We must go after the Lord's harvest and make them trophies of heaven, treasures come out of darkness. I believe it was William Booth who said, "Go for sinners and go for the worst."
Duke and all university, public institution, and company policy makers, need to ask France about the repercussions of their dumb decisions to allow Islam to have a foothold in their nation. They now have no-go zones in France where the police cannot even go for fear of being blown up by Islamic terrorists.
“Occupy and rule by fear and death” is the Muslim stratagem.
We cannot afford to tolerate the spirit of the antichrist in the church or society. If you grant favors to Islam you will become another casualty of Satan and a trophy of hell. Time will tell.
Law makers and policy makers who do this are ignorant of Satan's devices. You have no understanding of your enemy. You will be double crossed and booby trapped! Becoming wise in your own conceits you will be a fool, and like a little boy seduced into playing a killer man's war game. You and your children will die at the hands of the enemy.
Schools, universities, companies and even churches are swallowing this gigantic demonic lie of tolerance and religious diversity while all the time true Christianity is being excluded from the public arena. Wake up! Open your spiritual eyes! The enemy has lulled you to sleep with evil intentions to only convert you or kill you.
It is not flesh and blood we war against. We are to love all peoples of all religions. It is the spirit of antichrist prevalent in Islam that we are to despise. Who do you think is beheading people during the great tribulation in the book of Revelation?
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4
Here is what Rev. Franklin Graham had to say about Duke's decision before they recanted.
"As Christianity is being excluded from the public square and followers of Islam are raping, butchering and beheading Christians, Jews and anyone who doesn't submit to their Sharia Islamic law, Duke is promoting this in the name of religious pluralism."
This has become personal to me. As I just stated, although as Christians we are to love all people, we are not called to love all religions. I realize that calling any religion a culture of death is very offensive, but as they say—if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is clearly a duck.
Anyone who does not confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and does not receive His blood atonement for their sins abides in death.
It is time to make it plain while we still have the fifth amendment.
Honestly, the hypocrisy of a religion that rapes innocent women, murders children, consistently lies and deceives, and yet calls people to prayer should be repugnant to any sensible soul. All this talk of Islam being a peace-loving religion is one big, fat lie! It is a hateful and murderous religion.
We cannot play with death. Death is not a fictional television series. It is not a popular gaming topic. It is the entryway into either eternal life or eternal death. And a culture that treats it lightly is playing with fire and rushing headlong into a big, black abyss.
Islam denounces Jesus Christ's deity. They denounce Christianity. They denounce Judaism. In their eyes all non-Muslims are infidels and deserve death. They are haters of all that is good. They despise life and liberty.
Wake up, America! Wake up, church! You can’t play nice with religions of death or you too will become a casualty of war and a trophy of hell.
It is time to take extreme measures against an extreme enemy. Satan is playing for kills and for keeps.
