Two days before Christmas, Newsweek published a highly controversial (and quite lengthy) article on the Bible, claiming it was being terribly misrepresented by many evangelicals, and the article produced a firestorm of controversy, with Newsweek posting Dr. Brown’s lengthy rebuttal article. Today, Dr. Brown will be joined by the man who wrote the Christmas article, veteran journalist Kurt Eichenwald.

MICHAEL L. BROWN holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity.
