By Matthew Burke — Obama was so shook up by the horrific news that barbaric Islamic State savages had beheaded 21 Coptic Christian hostages in Egypt that he reacted in the same way he did literally minutes after learning that American journalists had been beheaded. He went golfing.
Obama golfed Sunday at a golf course owned by the third richest man in America, proving that he’s still “down for the struggle,” while spending the three-day weekend, including Valentine’s Day, away from his wife and daughters in sunny, Southern California.
Obama played at Porcupine Creek in Ranch Mirage, CA, a course owned by the co-founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison, who has a reported net worth of $50 billion.
Nothing to see here, folks. He’s still concerned about “inequality.”
Meanwhile, Obama spokesman Josh Earnest, a mouthpiece from the regime who won’t or can’t call Islamic terrorists, “Islamic terrorists,” refused to call the 21 beheaded victims Christians, but would only refer to them as “Egyptian citizens” and “innocents.”
One can only guess if Obama were running the country during the time of Hitler, the Holocaust and World War II, that he would have been afraid to use the term “Nazi,” fearing that it may offend Germans.
Everyone knows the answer to that question....

Panetta said the real focus should be on unity, not on fighting. “We need to get back to presidents and Congresses who can work together to try to confront the challenges we face,” he said.

By Robert Spencer, Jihad WAtch — Scarborough actually goes farther toward the truth than most mainstream media types, and much farther than anyone on MSNBC usually goes, when he rejects the idea that the jihadis are “as far from Islam as possible.” He even acknowledges that they stand for “a stripped down and pure Islam as it gets.” But then, perhaps sensing that he had strayed dangerously far from the politically correct reservation, ran back to safety by equating jihadis with “ultrafundamentalist Christians who believe every single word of the Bible has to be interpreted in the exact ways which could also lead to some violence.”The problem with this is that the violent Christians that Obama used as bogeys just recently — the Crusaders — were not “ultrafundamentalist Christians,” and they didn’t (and couldn’t) point to the Bible to justify acts of violence in the way that jihadis point to the Qur’an to justify violence. This is why there have been over 25,000 acts of jihad terror since 9/11, all justified by their perpetrators by invoking Islamic teachings, and exactly zero acts of terror committed by fundamentalist Christians who pointed to the Bible to justify their violence. But such distinctions will never get a hearing on MSNBC....
