Partial Transcript: The new GOP majority in the U.S. Senate is turning up the heat on its investigation of allegations the Internal Revenue Service shared private taxpayer information with President Obama, demanding Obama turn over communications he and his staff had with the agency.
The Washington Times reported it obtained a copy of a letter signed by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and the 13 other Republicans on the panel.
Addressed to Obama, the letter asks for his communications with the IRS since 2010 for their investigation into whether the agency has been engaging in illegal distribution of private taxpayer information. Republicans have accused the Obama administration of using the IRS as a political weapon since discovering the agency obstructed the applications for tax-exempt status of conservative organizations critical of Obama’s policies.
The letter said: “We have an obligation to conduct oversight of the federal government’s administration of our tax laws. As part of this oversight, we are seeking to determine the degree to and manner in which the Internal Revenue Service shares taxpayer information with the executive office of the president.”
IRS documents filed by the National Organization for Marriage, for example, were released to a citizen who asked for them, and they ended up in the hands of a homosexual activist who posted the confidential information online.
A judge ruled the IRS simply made a mistake, but the agency agreed to pay the group $50,000.... read full transcript here

And in the eyes of leading supporters of Obama’s unilateral action to defer deportation for millions in this country illegally, the prospects for a victory are not good.
MSNBC reports that groups advocating in favor of the president’s controversial executive actions are pessimistic, expecting Judge Hanen to block Obama’s attempt to bypass the congress in easing deportation rules for illegals.
The MSNBC post refers to Judge Hanen as a “staunch critic of the Obama administration’s immigration policies,” and they expect he will call for a stop to the president’s orders any day now.

By Trey Sanchez, Ben Shapiro’s Truth Revolt — Evangelist Franklin Graham called out Islam for causing a new rise in anti-semitism across Europe and similar growth in the United States, as Muslim immigrants import their hatred against Jews and Christians.In a Facebook post Graham said, "The enemy known as anti-semitism is not at the gate, it has already come through the gate, and it is time we wake up and realize the dangers of Islam."
This "cancer," Graham said, is due "largely from the influx of Muslim immigrants who are importing their hatred of Jews and Christians." He goes on to call it a "poison to all freedom-loving people" adding that it "should be stopped."
This post came a day after another Facebook offering in which Graham personally addressed President Obama for his comments at the National Prayer Breakfast in which he equated the deeds of ISIS with what happened a millennium ago during the Crusades. ‘High horse’ Jab just president’s latest attack on his own professed faith
By Garth Kant, WND — WASHINGTON – Why would President Obama, who professes to be a Christian, apparently harbor such animosity toward what he claims is his own faith?The latest example came during his remarks Thursday at the National Prayer Breakfast, but it was hardly the first time Obama has criticized Christianity or defended Islam.
In order to better understand what Obama truly believes, WND looked at the history of Obama’s relationship with religion, beginning with those most recent remarks.
“And lest we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said at the breakfast.
“In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ,” he added.
Incensed critics are interpreting those remarkable words as both an attack on Christianity and a defense of Muslim atrocities.
As WND reported, among the many Christian leaders outraged by the president’s comments, one Catholic leader called for Obama to apologize, pointedly noting that the Inquisition was political, and the Crusades were a defensive effort against jihad.
Obama’s remarks came just two days after the release of a video of the burning death of a captured Jordanian pilot by ISIS and just one day after word that the radical Islamic army is selling, as well as crucifying, children.
WND CEO Joseph Farah interpreted Obama’s remarks as an excuse of Islam, by drawing an equivalence between the current murderous reign of terror perpetuated by Muslim radicals and long-past misdeeds by Christians long-since condemned by virtually all Christians....

Thirteen people were killed and over 30 were wounded in Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s attack. The victims and their families fought for years to receive the Purple Heart and its benefits but were denied because of a debate over whether the shooting met the legal requirement to be considered an act of terror.
“Now that Congress has changed the criteria, we believe there is sufficient reason to allow these men and women to be awarded and recognized with either the Purple Heart or, in the case of civilians, the Defense of Freedom Medal,” the Army secretary, John M.
