Committee with subpoena powers eyes group given $350,000 in U.S. tax dollars
By Aaron Klein — (JERUSALEM) Fox News reported today that a bipartisan U.S. Senate committee with subpoena powers is investigating the possibility the Obama administration may have aided efforts to defeat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in this Tuesday’s elections.A source told Fox News the investigation focuses on State Department grants to a non-profits group that has been leading field organizing efforts openly aimed at replacing Netanyahu’s government with a center-left coalition.
The news report has been making big waves in the news media here in Israel.
Reported FoxNews.com: “The fact that both Democratic and Republican sides of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations have signed off on the probe could be seen as a rebuke to President Obama, who has had a well-documented adversarial relationship with the Israeli leader.”
A source told Fox News the senatorial probe is looking into U.S. governmental “funding” to OneVoice Movement, which is a partner in a get-out-the-vote drive with a newly-formed Israeli political action group calling itself V15.
V15, short for Victory 2015, attracted U.S. media attention after it hired 270 Strategies, a consulting firm whose senior leadership is comprised mostly of former top staffers for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
The V15 organization has partnered with OneVoice, a U.S.-U.K. nonprofit, for its get-out-the-vote-organizing drive aimed at replacing Netanyahu’s government with a center-left coalition.
V15′s headquarters is actually the offices of OneVoice, which bills itself as an “international grassroots movement that amplifies the voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians.”
OneVoice received a State Department grant for $350,000.
OneVoice’s offices Tel Aviv officers are being used as the campaign headquarters for V15′s anti-Netanyahu effort, as WND first reported.
It was OneVoice that reportedly hired 270 Strategies, a consulting firm whose senior leadership is comprised mostly of former top staffers for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
The reported move to investigate the state funding comes one week after Netanyahu gave an interview in which he spoke of “tens of millions of shekels from abroad” aiding in an effort to mobilize leftist Jewish and Israeli Arabs voters to defeat him.
OneVoice is reportedly sponsored by scores of nonprofits and received two grants in the past year from the U.S. State Department.
The State Department is also listed as a partner of OneVoice on the group’s website....

By Heather Clark, Christian News Network — (WASHINGTON) Vice President Joe Biden used the Lord’s name in vain on Friday as he spoke at the annual conference for a prominent homosexual activist organization.Biden, who served as keynote speaker at the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) annual spring conference in Washington, was expressing disagreement with recent remarks made by famed neurosurgeon and possible presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson. Carson had spoken earlier this week with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, regarding whether or not he believes homosexual behavior is a choice.
“A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight—and when they come out, they’re gay,” he said. “So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”
Carson, a Seventh Day Adventist, later issued an apology via Facebook for his “choice of language” and noted that while he personally disagrees with same-sex “marriage” for religious reasons, he believes that states should have the right to legalize such arrangements if they wish.
“I support civil unions for gay couples, and I have done so for many years,” he wrote. “I support the right of individual states to sanction gay marriage, and I support the right of individual states to deny gay marriage in their respective jurisdictions.”
Carson continued to receive criticism for his original statement, including from Vice President Joseph Biden, who excoriated the former doctor on Friday while speaking at HRC’s annual convention.
“Every ridiculous assertion from Dr. Carson on—I mean, ridiculous. I mean, J****, G**,” he said. “Oh G**. I mean, it’s kind of hard to fathom, isn’t it?”...

That, my friends, is what we call the “one state solution”. For exactly 1,878 years, the land of Israel, God’s holy land, lay empty of it’s Jewish inhabitants. This is the very land that God promised to Abraham, Issac and Jacob, and to Moses as well. Eretz Israel, the land of promise to God’s chosen people, the Jews.On May 14, 1948, the United States of America, under president Harry S. Truman, officially and formally recognized the regathered nation of Israel and in the blink of an eye, bible prophecy from both the Old and New Testaments was gloriously fulfilled. Mr Putin has remained hidden from public view for nine days. Levels of fear and uncertainty in Moscow have been rising as rumours fly over what could be behind Putin’s lengthy disappearance.
The Kremlin has repeatedly denied that there is anything amiss with the Russian leader, batting away suggestions that he is ill, dead, victim of a palace coup or in Switzerland to be by his girlfriend’s side as she gives birth.
Mr Putin’s next public appearance is scheduled for Monday, when he is due to meet Almazbek Atambayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan, in Saint Petersburg.

ISIS has executed another nine men for allegedly being spies in an unknown location in the Middle East.
Each man is forced to give interview before their murder in which they admit to spying on the terror group’s location, movement and armament.
All nine of them – blindfolded with hands bound behind their backs – are then escorted outside by masked terrorists who eventually instruct them to kneel and place handguns to their heads.
They pull the triggers without hesitation, sending their victims jerking forward until their limp bodies hit the dusty ground.
The masked ISIS commander who introduces the latest senseless propaganda video says the men ‘were sentenced to death for betraying the religion of Allah’.
Graphic footage ultimately shows the deceased captives resting perfectly still in a shallow pool of blood.
But the scenes in which the senseless murders take place come six minutes and 30 seconds after the start of the seven minute video.
It begins with a bizarre setup of a masked ISIS commander sitting in a corporate office, flanked by two other soldiers.
He say that Islamic State succeeded in arresting an entire ‘cell’ of spies who were tasked with monitoring their locations back to their commanding officer.
The unnamed militant then claims three of the men who squealed on the others, adding: ‘We took the investigation to a judge and after collecting evidence, they were sentenced to death for betraying the religion of Allah.’
Each of the nine kidnapped men are then forced to give interviews before their impending doom – presumably under duress – in which they confess to being spies.
Their nationalities and professions are as yet a mystery, but some of the men look visibly terrified as they speak in trembling Arabic....

The U.K. government’s independent investigator found that only six British jihadists have had their bank accounts frozen out of an estimated 600 fighting with the Islamic State group, The Telegraph reported Saturday.
