Tells ABC: ‘We’re not going to change the law, OK?’

Mike Pence came out swinging on national television over his state’s new religious freedom rule, basically telling ABC host George Stephanopoulos to move on with his questioning – the law’s not leaving.On “This Week,” Pence faced fire over whether the bill he signed into law was tantamount to discrimination against certain groups of individuals, specifically “gays” and lesbians. He insisted the law wasn’t a regulation against private individuals or businesses, but rather a means of checking government and upholding the First Amendment, and slammed the media for its “reckless” and “shameless” skewed coverage of the issue, Politico reported.
Pence finally told his host: “We’re not going to change the law, OK? This is not about discrimination, this is about empowering people to confront government overreach. … From people who preach tolerance every day, we’ve been under an avalanche of intolerance. I’m not going to take it lying down.”
He also said the law doesn’t automatically give businesses the right to decline to serve homosexuals or others and insisted: “Hoosiers don’t believe in discrimination,” Politico reported.
Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act has incited some widespread controversy. Indianapolis-based Angie’s List just announced it was cancelling a $40 million expansion of its headquarters, while ESPN host Keith Olbermann has called for the NFL to boycott the state....

By Brian Lilley, Ben Shapiro’s Truth Revolt — A journalist who formerly had close ties with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says the Obama administration is essentially acting for Iran in the current negotiations over that country's nuclear program.“The US negotiating team are mainly there to speak on Iran’s behalf with other members of the 5+1 countries and convince them of a deal,” said Amir Hossein Motaghi.
Motaghi, who sought political asylum in Switzerland after traveling there to cover the nuclear talks as a journalist, once handled public relations for president Rouhani.
The comments from Motaghi, reported by Britain's Daily Telegraph, come as cracks appear between the US and her allies over any proposed deal with Iran.
The Free Beacon reports that diplomatic sources are describing American diplomats as bullying allies while cozying up to Iran....

And without a doubt, the Houthis are bad guys and so are their Iranian benefactors. But don’t be fooled into thinking that the war in Yemen is a battle of good vs. evil. The truth is that the conflict in Yemen is actually a proxy war between two sets of bad guys that both ultimately plan for Islam to take over the entire planet. On one side, the Iranians are very honest about the fact that they view us as an enemy, and they plan to impose their version of radical Shia Islam worldwide as soon as they can. On the other side, the Saudis pretend to be our friends, but they don’t hide the fact that they believe that their version of Sunni Islam will eventually rule the world. And their version of Sunni Islam includes constant beheadings, the destruction of all churches and the death penalty for anyone caught smuggling a Bible into Saudi territory. At the end of the day, there is very little difference between the Saudis and ISIS. In fact, ISIS gets a lot of funding from Saudi sources, and there is more support for ISIS on Twitter from Saudi Arabia than from anywhere else. Saudi Arabia is a horribly repressive regime where women are treated like dirt, where the secret police conduct a never ending reign of terror and where even a minor deviation from sharia law can mean the loss of a limb. But because our politicians and the mainstream media constantly tell us that they are “our friends”, we cheer them on.It is being reported that the Saudis have mobilized 150,000 troops for a ground invasion of Yemen, and Egypt says that it is ready to contribute a very large force as well. The Saudis simply were not going to just sit back and watch as pro-Iranian forces took total control of their neighbor. So I blow the trumpet with the same familiar sound saying that Turkey’s Ottoman revival as a Caliphate is imminent. I talk about a near future in which Erdoğan would ask Muslims worldwide to give him allegiance as Caliph. Bay’at, as Islam calls it, which is “giving allegiance”, is the hallmark of the Antichrist as John declared: “but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast.” (Revelation 13:3)So in order to convey my persistent message, this time I had thought to bring in watchmen from the source itself in Turkey. This way westerners can hear it from the horses mouth, from a land that many struggle the coming tyranny of Erdoğan. Today’s Zaman, a favorite of mine and a persecuted voice gives a similar perspective of what I have been trying to say, but hearing it, from the horses mouth if you will, can bring in credibility to my trumpet sound. Zaman says that Erdoğan is already a Caliph, that historically speaking, during the Ottomans “strong sultans did not actually depend on the title of caliph”. In fact, Caliph Erdoğan is sort of a nickname for the Turkish tyrant. Zaman says that the political war in Turkey between “political Islam” and “civil Islam” is over with Erdoğan being the victor. Erdoğan’s latest announcement, according to Zaman already has the hallmark of declaring Erdoğan as Caliph of the Muslim world. The Muslim scholarly powers has already asked the Muslim world to pledge allegiance to Erdoğan. So I included their article in full, added a few photos and underlined key lines.
