“Only the speediest of skywatchers will have a chance to see the total lunar eclipse rising Saturday: NASA predicts that the total phase of the lunar eclipse will only last about 5 minutes, making it the shortest lunar eclipse of the century.
Early-rising observers all over the United States should be able to see at least the partial phases of the April 4 lunar eclipse just before the sun rises, if weather permits. People on the West Coast will have the chance to see the moon turn an eerie shade of red during totality, which should begin at about 7:58 a.m. EDT (1158 GMT, 4:58 a.m. PDT). NASA this week unveiled a video detailing the total lunar eclipse, and dubbed the event the shortest lunar eclipse of the century in an announcement on Monday (March 30) in detail.
Observers in other parts of the world will have an even better chance to see the lunar eclipse. Stargazers in Australia, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia will get the chance to see the eclipse on the night of April 4, according to Sky & Telescope. By Randy DeSoto, Western Journalism — The owners of “Memories Pizza” in rural Walkerton, Indiana, are having the last laugh after being targeted for their stand for religious liberty. Over 7000 people have contributed a total of over $200,000 to a fund set up only a day ago to help Crystal and Kevin O’Connor after the pizza shop owners had to close their restaurant’s doors due to harassment–including death threats.The O’Connors probably did not see in advance the firestorm that would be created when they responded to a local news reporter’s questions about Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). ABC57 reporter Alyssa Marino asked Crystal whether their pizza shop, hypothetically, would cater a gay wedding. She said, “If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no.”
O’Connor went on to explain, “We’re not discriminating against anyone, that’s just our belief and anyone has the right to believe in anything.” The owners added that if a gay couple came into their restaurant, they would never deny them service; but as Christians, they would not want to participate in a gay wedding.
Crystal’s father, Kevin, told the reporter, “That lifestyle is something they choose. I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?”

The reaction against the O’Connors for voicing their Christian beliefs was so vitriolic, they were forced to close their restaurant doors earlier this week. Harassment techniques included flooding the business with phone calls (threats, false orders among them), and writing hate-filled messages on the restaurant’s Facebook page and thousands of negative reviews (some with lewd pictures) on Yelp.
BuzzFeed captured some of the Internet’s worst, including a female coach from nearby Concord High School who tweeted: “Who’s going to Walkerton, IN to burn down #memoriespizza w me?”...

In just the last few years it has been reported that hackers have infiltrated everything from critical physical components that manage water utilities to 23 orbiting spacecraft managed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The problems have been highlighted by major cyber security firms like Symantec and McAfee.The threat is real and the government knows it. In an open letter to her successor, outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano warned that a massive attack against the U.S. power grid is imminent.
Notoriously known as “Big Sis” for her role at the Orwellian mega-agency, she claims the supposed ‘imminent’ event will pose challenges to all aspects of life, and make powering homes, providing food and facilitating transportation difficult. Napolitano seems so sure, one wonders how she knows that such a catastrophe is not only possible, but sure to happen, as she prepares to officially leave office September 6th.But while private and public organizations should be working to secure their networks and prevent outside access to components that could bring down the grid, the question of how much involvement is required by the Federal government has now come to the forefront.

By Bob Unruh, WND — The turmoil over religious freedom in Indiana is generating a response that, if successful, could do a lot to settle the controversy over government demands that Christians violate their faith by supporting homosexual “marriage” in a way that has not yet been tried.It’s a “Marriage and Religious Freedom Act” that would bar government discrimination against individuals or groups because they believe in biblical marriage. It also calls a halt to federal actions to deny or revoke a group’s tax-exempt status over that issue, and it would ban the government from using someone’s sincere faith convictions to deny distribution of a federal grant, contract or employment.
The limits all appear to be aimed at government, unlike most laws, which either prescribe or proscribe what a person or company must do, but there’s a reason for that – according to those support the plan.
The government has been doing the discriminating.
“Government didn’t create marriage and has no business redefining it,” said an announcement from Family Research Action, a relative of the Family Research Council, which is condemning efforts in Indiana to strike a simple, straightforward religious freedom act that already exists in nearly 20 other states – and at the federal level. FRC Action is working with elements in Washington on the plan....

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused the Obama administration of misleading the American people and Congress in a fact sheet it released following the culmination of negotiations with the Islamic Republic.
Zarif bragged in an earlier press conference with reporters that the United States had tentatively agreed to let it continue uranium enrichment, the key component in a nuclear bomb.
