By Leo Hohmann, WND — Christians are rallying and spreading the love, stepping up with financial assistance to their brethren burned by the militant same-sex marriage movement.As WND reported, more than $842,000 poured in last week for a Pizzeria in Indiana forced to close by threats of violence from LGBT supporters.
Another small business owner, this time a florist in Richland, Washington, found herself singled out for refusing to provide service for a same-sex wedding in 2013. She refused and was hit last week with $1,001 in fines and court costs from the state. She still faces a lawsuit from the customer.
Barronelle Stutzman, sole owner of Arlene’s Flowers, could lose her business, home and retirement savings if she loses the suit. A GoFundMe account started by a friend on Feb. 23 sat almost completely idle for weeks but has come alive with donations over the past few days....

By Greg Richter, Newsmax — The left's "fear and hatred of Christianity" and religion in general has driven America's culture wars for the past 30 years, Rush Limbaugh told his radio audience Monday."That is what people on the left just have the biggest struggle with. It's a giant enemy," he said in comments reported by Breitbart.
Christianity is a powerful enemy the left has no control over and will never be able to dominate, he said. It is "an enemy they will never be able to obliterate and they know it, but they nevertheless try."
He pointed out that the left has found a huge appreciation for Pope Francis because some of the things he says seem to line up with their thinking.
"So when the Vicar of Christ now and then comes out, utters some economic policy that makes them think he's one of them, they celebrate," Limbaugh said. "I think it's fascinating they desperately want the Pope to be one of them. … Then the Pope will come out the next day and makes it clear he's not one of their guys.
Leftists vacillate from "love, hate, anger, reassessment, appreciation," he said. "It's a fascinating case study to me."
Liberals have done much the same with religious freedom laws, Limbaugh said, pointing out that they loved the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) when it was signed by President Bill Clinton. But they didn't like Indiana's state RFRA, saying it targeted gay people....

“Several neighbors living off Alderpointe Street near Panama and Gosford in southwest Bakersfield say they first witnessed a mysterious blue light in the sky back in February, and again in March. Both times they saw it on the 14th.
"I was taking the recycling out to the trash can, and I saw this blue light in the sky, and I thought, that's kinda bright to be a star, I've never seen a blue star be that bright," said Kelly Castruita.
"Watched it for about 10 minutes, just doing weird stuff, it would turn on and off and it would disappear," added Kelly's husband Jeff.
Neighbors said the blue light was about the size of a dime, and started off just above the skyline, and then migrated northwest.
"It pretty much flew, stopped, then started doing some upward motion and downward motion, so I've never seen anything like it," said neighbor Randy Gabriel. ”

She then offers her perspective on the way it has been up until now:
For the past three decades, socially conservative evangelicals and pro-business interests have been powerfully allied against government regulations, environmental initiatives and social welfare programs, while supporting lower taxes for the wealthy and pushing back against the growing diversity in America's population.Coontz believes this alliance between conservative Christians and pro-business entities has been "puzzling" for other Christians whom she says place "more emphasis on Jesus Christ's message of unconditional love and on his denunciations of excessive wealth and neglect of the poor."
But beyond that group is what Coontz labels "media-savvy millennials" -- those who are all about calling out the perceived discrimination against the LGBT community from businesses or the various religious freedom bills they claim are currently wreaking havoc. In addition, Coontz says that tolerance for the diversity of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation is now the moral standard for political and business models in America, replacing the apparent intolerance of yesteryear's moral majority.
Coontz ends with a warning to business leaders and politicians to not ignore or offend these new constituencies or face the consequences....
