Biography
HARRY S. TRUMAN (May 8, 1884 – December 26, 1972) was the 33rd President of the United States (1945–1953). The final running mate of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1944, Truman succeeded to the presidency on April 12, 1945, when Roosevelt died after months of declining health. Under Truman, the U.S. successfully concluded World War II; in the aftermath of the conflict, tensions with the Soviet Union increased, marking the start of the Cold War.
Truman was born in Missouri, and spent most of his youth on his family's farm. During World War I, Truman served in combat in France as an artillery officer in his National Guard unit. After the war, he briefly owned a haberdashery and joined the Democratic Party political machine of Tom Pendergast in Kansas City, Missouri. He was first elected to public office as a county official, and in 1934 became U.S. senator. He gained national prominence as head of the wartime Truman Committee, which exposed waste, fraud, and corruption in wartime contracts.

This week, we have learned that more than 7 million turkeys and chickens have already been killed as the result of a devastating bird flu outbreak here in the United States. This particular strain of the bird flu has already spread to the states of Minnesota, Iowa, California, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin, and scientists are mystified as to why it is moving so rapidly. But what we do know is that this flu has the potential to kill an entire flock of chickens or turkeys in just 48 hours. This pandemic is quickly becoming a major national crisis all by itself, but when you combine this with all of the other disasters hitting our food supply, a very troubling picture emerges. By Rip Curl, Ben Shapiro’s Truth Revolt — GoFundMe page was set up to help the owners who lost their business after they refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple, citing religious reasons, has been yanked down by the crowd-funding organization.The fundraising page had raised nearly $70,000 before it was taken down. Afterward, the bakery posted on Facebook a link to a different fundraising page with this note:
The gofundme account that was set up to help our family was shut down by the administrators of gofundme because they claimed it was raising money for an illegal purpose. We have told gofundme that the money is simply going to be used to help our family, and there is no legitimate breach of their terms and conditions. We are working to get the account reinstated. ...The GoFundMe decision comes aftera judge decided the Oregon bakery owners who refused, for relgious reasons, to make a cake for a gay wedding should be forced to pay $135,000 in fines....

FBI, TSA Issue Back-To-Back Alerts Based On Intercepts
WND EXCLUSIVE — (WASHINGTON) While the FBI investigates a possible ISIS terror attack on the basis of intercepted chatter and intelligence information, the TSA issued a classified warning that ISIS is planning an attack on U.S. soil.Little is known about the nature of the attack other than its imminence, which has prompted the TSA to deploy its new Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response teams, or VIPR, to various undisclosed locations. The VIPR teams include airports, train stations and other busy transportation hubs.
One law enforcement source suggested parts of California were of special concern.
As a result of the FBI warning, some cities have increased security as a precaution, but those cities have not been disclosed.
The TSA classified warning was issued Friday. The FBI investigation was confirmed Saturday.
