Media Research Center: ‘This Was Not An accident’

By Cheryl Chumley, WND — The Associated Press issued a statement about its widely panned photo of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, with a background picture of a handgun pointed straight at his head, saying the shot was accidental. “Presidential candidate Ted Cruz was shown in a series of 14 photos taken by an Associated Press photographer at a ‘Celebrate the 2nd Amendment’ event Saturday afternoon, held at a shooting range in Johnston, Iowa,” said Paul Colford, vice president and director of media relations said, according to Politico. “Five of the photos published by AP included images of guns seen on a wall in the background so that it appeared a pistol was pointed at Sen. Cruz’s head.”

“The AP is lying,” declared Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center. “This was not an accident. They made a deliberate decision to publish the photo. The AP owes Senator Cruz, his wife Heidi, and his children an immediate and unqualified apology. Furthermore, I am calling on the AP to conduct a complete investigation of everyone involved in the publishing of the photo and to fire those who ultimately made the decision to publish the photo.”

Bozell added: “This is disgusting. Just days after a horrific shooting that took nine lives, the AP has the gall to unapologetically display a gun aimed at the head of a presidential candidate. They would never do this to Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Nor should they.”

As Breitbart pointed out, for example, if the subject in the photo had been a Democrat at an anti-gun rally, would this picture have seen the light of day?...

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) warns against rushing to deliver disastrous trade bills to President Obama’s desk by voting for cloture on Tuesday morning.

The vote would shut down debate on three secret, international compacts that would encompass as much as 95 percent of the world’s GDP and rip control of U.S. visas out of our hands. Obama wants to sign bills for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA).

Once Obama signs fast-track trade authority, he would then order the executive branch to force Congress to pass new legislation that would invalidate U.S. laws that contradicted the global trade agreement—again, an agreement kept secret from the American people and their elected representatives. These bills cannot be debated for more than 20 hours, let alone filibustered, modified, or made subject to the Senate’s two-thirds rule on passing treaties.

“Fast-Track authority would implement thousands of pages of rules concerning up to 9/10ths of the world’s economy with less Congressional scrutiny than provided to a Post Office reform bill,” Sessions wrote.

TiSA itself concerns nearly 50 nations, including the Muslim countries of Turkey and Pakistan. Why lawmakers are eager to make the world’s only superpower’s visa program subject to oversight from a backwater, Third World hellhole that sheltered Osama bin Laden is a mystery. What is clear, however, is that TiSA would tighten the grip that the General Agreement on Trade and Services (GATS) has on our ability to choose who emigrates to the U.S....

According to the site’s tutorial on ELA:

Error Level Analysis (ELA)permits identifying areas within an image that are at different compression levels. With JPEG images, the entire picture should be at roughly the same level. If a section of the image is at a significantly different error level, then it likely indicates a digital modification …

ELA reveals areas where the patches appear that suggest a differing compression speed and thus possible manipulation. In other words, the Apartheid-era patches attributed to Roof may have been digitally inserted into the above image to accentuate the narrative of Roof’s racist motivations in the tragic slayings.

In an era of mass illusion where digital representations can be so easily and convincingly altered to accommodate or bolster a specific story line, the importance of such analysis cannot be understated. Like the Sandy Hook School shootings, the Charleston Church massacre represents an emotionally potent and divisive powder keg, especially because it is positioned to draw on conflicting sets of socio-cultural experience, identity, and history.”

I DON’T KNOW WHAT. BUT WE MUST BE READY’

Recently, there has been quite a bit of chatter on the Internet about what the second half of 2015 will bring. During the last six months of this calendar year, we are going to witness a remarkable confluence of circumstances and events, and this is something that I covered in a previous article entitled “7 Key Events That Are Going To Happen By The End Of September“. But in addition to all of the things that we can point to outwardly, a lot of very prominent individuals are also really feeling an inner “urgency” regarding what is about to happen to this country. For example, Bible prophecy expert Joel C. Rosenberg just posted an ominous message on his own personal blog in which he stated that “something is coming” and that “we must be ready”…
I feel a tremendous sense of urgency about this column.

The United States is hurtling towards severe trouble, and the events of the past few months — and what may be coming over the next few months — grieves me a great deal.

Something is coming. I don’t know what. But we all must be ready in every possible way.
When I first read that, I thought that sounded remarkably similar to how I have been feeling.

Personally, I am feeling more of a sense of urgency about the second half of 2015 than I have ever felt about any period of time before.

And like Rosenberg, I am also convinced that “something is coming” and that this nation is hurtling towards severe trouble.

So what in particular has Rosenberg so concerned? The following are the items that he listed in his blog post…

Transcript: Everyone knows what a hologram is, but have you ever considered that we actually live in one? That was the premise behind the movie, “The Matrix” but it seems the film was closer to reality than we ever imagined. Scientists are finding that we do indeed live in a digital simulation. A few remarkable discoveries pointed toward this conclusion and led scientist David Bohm to state, “that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram.”

The physics concept that gravity results from “thin, vibrating strings” existing in nine dimensions of space and one of time, is another indication. Recently, a Japanese math team provided, “compelling evidence” and now scientists have begun experiments to verify it in physical, rather than just mathematical terms.

Physicist James Gates states that, in mathematically trying to understand nature through string theory, what we find written into the fabric of the cosmos are error-correcting computer codes. These cannot have arisen from random chance; they’re evidence of a studied, refined design.
The virtual reality for people in “The Matrix” was created by computers. Those watching what happened to others inside that hologram viewed a screen with a series of numbers. Gates basically is describing such a picture when he speaks of computer codes being written into the universe and forming nature itself.

This confirms what Christians always have believed: a simulation must have a Designer and Creator. It reinforces the idea that this world is simply a testing ground for the real, eternal world. And it clarifies the biblical claim that God spoke our world into existence. That’s easily understandable when we recognize it’s a mere projection.

It also demonstrates the foolishness of Darwinism; evolution as the creative force behind life is both impossible and nonsensical in a digital simulation. But grasping this truth requires stepping outside the box of ‘reality’ as we’ve always understood it and looking at life on a deeper level - on a spiritual, supernatural level.
