SUPREME COURT HAD TO IGNORE ITS OWN WORDS TO REACH CONCLUSION
WND Exclusive — A well-known pastor says America was “punked” on homosexual “marriage,” and he is trying to rally resistance to the Supreme Court with what he believes is a “smoking gun.”Carl Gallups, author of “Final Warning: Understanding the Trumpet Days of Revelation,” argues the Supreme Court ruled only two years ago the right to define marriage belonged exclusively to the states.
Then suddenly this year the justices found that contention was wrong – that the states did not have that right. Instead, the justices ruled 5-4 that the federal government has the right to redefine marriage – even to the point of throwing out the votes of millions of Americans.
Gallups says this “nefarious” legal reasoning opens the door for legislative action by the Republican-controlled Congress.
He said it was the case of United States v. Windsor in 2013 that overturned the Defense of Marriage Act.
There the issue was that the federal law provided that marriage was between a man and a woman, but in New York state, there was a demand to include same-sex duos in that designation. Thus, the Supreme Court threw out the federal law.
It found “the responsibility of the states for the regulation of domestic relations is an important indicator of the substantial societal impact the state’s classifications have in the daily lives and customs of its people.”
But now, Gallups notes, the Supreme Court is saying in 2015′s Obergefell v. Hodges case that homosexuals have an inherent “right” to marry and the state does not have the right to determine “domestic relations.”...

We also saw the final vestiges of constitutional government discarded. Three decisions by the Supreme Court poked fingers in God’s eye, going directly against His Word. But those pointing this out are dismissed as fear-laden Neanderthals who don’t belong in the modern world.
The Court first declared that Jerusalem is not part of Israel. There’s probably no city in the world associated for a longer time with any people than Jerusalem is with the Jews. After the reestablishment of a Jewish state, Congress recognized it as Israel’s capital through the Jerusalem Embassy Act, yet the Executive branch took a contrary position and refused to implement the law. It’s the first time in history the Court ruled against Congress on a foreign policy matter, and it did so for political, not legal reasons.
Next they overturned North Carolina’s abortion statute, requiring ultrasounds. This regulation wasn’t burdensome, but caused some women to change their minds. In the last decade, ultrasound has saved over 200,000 children. Given the millions of abortions, this shouldn’t have been a threat to abortion advocates. Yet anything that impinges on the right to destroy the unwanted results of sexuality is taboo in this culture and to this Court. Their reasoning again was political; the law had “ideological” intent & violated doctors’ “free speech.”
Finally, despite clear constitutional language that any issue not specifically addressed was reserved to the states, the Court overturned the age-old, God-given definition of marriage, replacing it with a human standard tethered to nothing, opening the door for anything else men deem acceptable in a culture in moral freefall.
Arrogance has replaced humility; politics has replaced law, not only in our leaders but in the population as a whole. They’re not demonstrating enlightenment; they’re merely wallowing in sin and rebellion. Maybe critics are right Bible believers don’t belong in this modern world. We’d prefer a world where respect for God brings wisdom, humility, modesty, charity and respect for life. By the end of March, those who were honestly reporting on Jade Helm knew that both of these statements were a lie....
