The biblical KING DAVID OF ISRAEL was known for his diverse skills as both a warrior and a writer of psalms. In his 40 years as ruler, between approximately 1010 and 970 B.C. (before Christ), he united the people of Israel, led them to victory in battle, conquered land and paved the way for his son, Solomon, to build the Holy Temple. Michael Farris is co-founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association and author of “The History of Religious Liberty.” The book details the fierce fight for the religious freedom provisions that eventually emerged in the First Amendment to the Constitution.

By AUTHOR, Christian News Network — The Democratic governor of Kentucky has ordered a county clerk to issue “marriage” licenses to same-sex pairs or resign from his position.

Gov. Steve Beshear, whose father and grandfather were reportedly both ministers and who identifies as a Baptist, told Casey County clerk Casey Davis on Thursday those were his two choices.

Davis is one of three clerks in the state who has objected to issuing the licenses because of their Christian convictions. He met with the governor this week to outline his concerns and his convictions not to facilitate the sins of others. During the meeting, approximately 50 of Davis’ friends and family members gathered to pray at the capitol rotunda.

According to the Herald Leader, state Sen. Albert Robinson, R-London, was among his supporters.

“God first created one man and one woman to raise a family,” Robinson told the outlet. “He did not create two men or two women together.”

But despite the effort, Davis said that he was told by Beshear that he must either issue the licenses or step down....

What New Travesty Awaits the World?: At my age I have to wonder how soon this country will implode and wither away into a vast nothingness, with the inefficient and country-killing Executive Order travesty he holds over all of our heads.

The family normally consists primarily of a female who, after giving birth, is entitled to be the ‘mother’ and a male, who after creating a birth with his female partner in the marriage, is given the title of ‘father’. Just observing animals or insects, let alone humans, is enough education to understand why the word was conceived and the mating process, save for those convoluted participants, inevitably produced offspring enhancements of the couple’s personal genes, thereby creating the ‘family’.

Now that the miracle of birth has been voided by the “marriage” of two same sex providers, the new “partners”, because of their inherent deficiencies will have to depend on other more normal humans to provide the elements that create a family, no thanks to the five not only misguided but mentally deficient justices (I cringe when calling them by that misnomer) who stepped far out of character and bounds with their choice of vote.

Already there is great turmoil and dissatisfaction in America over these five un-Americans who now welcome un-constitutional conduct favored by communists around the world. Predominately liberal Democrats who follow the homosexual beliefs and practices that our president favors at the disapproval of the Islamic culture who he also is fond of....

I am here to defend the imagery of the Confederate Flag.

The Confederate Flag was just removed from the grounds of the South Carolina statehouse, but this is my opinion: Jesus Christ prefers the Confederate Flag over the official flag of America. Let me tell you why: the Confederate flag has a Christian image, the American flag has the 50 stars, representing each state and the 13 stripes that represent the 13 original colonies.

The X on the Confederate Flag represents the cross of St. Andrew, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ, who is also the patron saint of Scotland. According to Church tradition, St. Andrew crucified by the pagans on a giant cross shaped like an X, called in Latin a Crux decussate....
