Partial Transcript: What do the Book of Esther, the Crusades, the Inquisition, the pogroms, the Holocaust, and today’s BDS movement, boycotting Israel and supporting Palestine, share in common? Answer: Hatred of the Jews.
In virtually every generation, even in so-called “enlightened,” Western societies, anti-Semitism, hatred of the Jews, has exacted senseless resentments and a terrible toll in human lives. Have you ever asked yourself, “Why is there such hatred of the Jews?” Retired Army General, Chaplain James Hutchens has found the answer…in the pages of the Old Testament.
James Hutchens follows the trail of scriptural clues, initiated by Yahweh God’s covenant identification with Abram in the Book of Genesis, resulting in eternal promises of blessing to this father of the faith, through generations of his firstborn, extending even to those who place their faith in Abraham’s God, Yahweh, and those who bless Abraham’s people. Curses, however, would fall upon any who chose to curse Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, later re-named Israel by God, Himself.
But Hutchens finds the real answer to anti-Semitism exposed in Psalm 83, where the enemies of God growl and His foes raise their head. Here’s the key. The link between God and His Chosen Ones is seen in verses 3 through 5, “With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you—“ There you have it. Scripture say those who plot against Israel, are really conspiring against the one true God.
General Hutchens foresees an expanding animosity toward both Jews and Christians, the seed of Abraham, developing in coming days as an extension of the hatred that many in this world feel toward God, His Word, and His law.
But the good news is that Yahweh God never fails, and neither will His people. ... » read full transcript here with pertinent additional information
