Amidst the current wave of terrorist stabbings and other attacks, a local Arab Christian leader has published a YouTube video begging forgiveness of his Jewish brothers, and urging fellow Arab Christians to do the same.In the video, this brave man calls on the Arabs to “not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good.” Addressing fellow Arab Christians specifically, he insists they must not remain silent in the face of this terrorist violence.
To the Jews, this Arab Christian says he hopes they “can find it in your heart to forgive us.”
The man’s face and voice have been obscured in the video for his own safety, and he requested that we not reveal his name or any other details about him. Arab Christians who express love or other positive views regarding Israel and the Jews are often the targets of Muslim violence.
