BENGHAZI TESTIMONY
BENGHAZI TESTIMONY
By Jack Davis, Western Journalism — When armed terrorists are defeated in an attempt to board a bus filled with innocent schoolchildren who were their potential victims, it seems appropriate that news headlines should reflect relief at a plot being foiled.
However, when CNN wanted to tell the world about just that kind of event during Hillary Clinton’s appearance before the House Benghazi committee on Thursday, it found a way to distort the reality of the latest incident of attempted terrorism in Israel.
“Palestinians shot boarding kids’ bus,” CNN proclaimed in a box across the bottom of the screen.
This hardly communicated the reality of the incident.
“In truth, the perpetrators shot were armed terrorists intending on harming innocent children,” wrote Ken Shepard on Newsbusters.

BENGHAZI JIHAD ATTACK HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH VIDEO
By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch — “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film.” Yet when Susan Rice said that the attack was “a spontaneous reaction to a video,” and other Obama officials said the same thing, she never corrected them. And she gave the same impression herself when she said, “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted to the Internet,” although she tried to walk that back at yesterday’s hearings.
Remember also that right after the Benghazi jihad murders, Hillary said, “We’re going to have that filmmaker arrested,” and did so, on a trumped-up parole violation — while probably thousands of parolees have committed worse and never gotten hauled back in. The filmmaker became America’s first Sharia political prisoner, in prison for violating Islamic blasphemy law...

OBAMA VETOES NDAA,

SENDING ALMOST $1 BILLION...
TO SYRIAN REBELS AND UKRAINE
DAHBOO
President Barack Obama has vetoed the military funding bill passed by Congress, envisioning almost $1 billion in aid to Syrian rebels and the Ukrainian government.
As the primary reason for vetoing the House Resolution 1735, as the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act is known, Obama cited the allocation of $38 billion into a war fund not subject to budget caps, saying it “irresponsibly” ducks the spending caps established by the 2011 Budget Control Act. He has called on the Republican-controlled congress to abolish the caps and increase government spending on both military and domestic programs.
"I’m going to be sending [the NDAA] back to Congress. And my message to them is very simple: Let’s do this right," Obama said.
"We’re in the midst of budget discussions -- let’s have a budget that properly funds our national security as well as economic security."

CARSON HITS BACK AT TRUMP’S JAB ABOUT ‘LOW ENERGY’

... BEING ASLEEP
By Curt Mills, Washington Examiner — Ben Carson said that he has a "tendency to be relaxed" but "wasn't always like that," responding to criticism from Donald Trump that he is "super low energy" on "Meet the Press" Sunday.
"You know, everybody has their own personality. And if he'd like to do that, that's fine. That's not who I am," Carson, who is second in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, said to host Chuck Todd. "And I don't get into the mud pit."
"I have plenty of energy. But, you know, I am soft-spoken. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn't always like that," Carson continued. "As a teenager. I would go after people with rocks, and bricks, and baseball bats, and hammers. ... Fortunately, you know, my life has been changed." ...
