• The Pentagon said Wednesday that U.S. fighter jets were tracking an unmanned Army surveillance blimp that tore loose from its ground tether in Maryland and drifted north over Pennsylvania.
• China on Tuesday accused Washington of provocation, in response to the US sending a naval vessel into waters claimed by China in the South China Sea, and summoned US Ambassador Max Baucus to protest against the US naval patrol. China said the action threatened its sovereignty, and condemned the US for taking sides in territorial disputes. US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter on Tuesday confirmed the naval operation inside a 12-nautical mile zone near China's Nansha Islands.
• The death toll from Monday's powerful earthquake in northern Afghanistan has risen to 365, with over 2,000 people injured. The magnitude-7.5 quake struck the Hindu-Kush mountainous area, while also rattling neighboring Pakistan, India and Tajikistan. It claimed 115 lives in Afghanistan, 248 in Pakistan and two in India-controlled Kashmir.
• Chinese Embassy has urged the US to refrain from saying or doing anything provocative, after US Navy reports plan to sail destroyer near 12-nautical-mile limit around China's artificial islands in South China Sea.
• Iran will join multilateral talks for the first time on Friday in Vienna aimed at resolving the conflict in Syria. The negotiations center on what role President Bashar al Assad might play in Syria's future.
• The US could be set to deploy ground troops in Iraq and Syria - to fight Islamic State. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said Washington - "won't hold back" from supporting its partners - including with direct action on the ground.
• Researchers and astrophysicists are tracking a large asteroid set to make a spooky fly-by of Earth during Halloween. Brigida Santos has the details and takes a look at the inner workings of Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory.
• IAEA discovers nuclear testing equipment missing from military facility.
• Tensions between the U.S. and China are rising over contested territory in the South China Sea. The U.S. Navy sailed a warship to within 12 nautical miles of China's new artificial island. • A seventh grader says she was asked to deny the existence of God in her reading class and was told she was wrong when she defended her faith.
• Nearly half of the U.S. states have jointly sued the Environment Protection Agency, or the EPA, over Barack Obama-initiated Clean Power Plan. According to West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, 23 of the 50 states filed the lawsuit with the federal Court of Appeals. They charged that the EPA plan was illegal and damaging to the economic interests of their states.
• Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas has called on the United Nations to create a "special regime" for the protection of his people. Abbas made the appeal as a recent wave of deadly Israeli-Palestinian violence shows no sign of abating. [Violence instigated by the PA against Israel]

IRAN COMMANDERS TO SEND ‘FLEET OF WARSHIPS’

Iran intends to dispatch “a fleet of warships” to the Atlantic Ocean shortly, the semi-state Fars news agency reported Thursday, quoting the regime’s navy chief.
“Our warships will soon berth at ports in the Atlantic Ocean,” Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari promised at a ceremony on Wednesday marking the return to port of Iranian warships that Fars said had taken part in joint drills with the Russian navy.
Sayyari said the Iranian vessels had been in the Caspian Sea and at the Russian port of Astrakhan. “The presence of Iranian warships in international ports shows the Iranian Navy’s prowess,” Fars quoted him saying.
Sayyari made a similar pledge to deploy warships in the Atlantic in early 2014. At the time, Iran promised to send its fleet close to American maritime borders as a counter to the US navy’s presence in the Gulf. But in April, the navy chief said the move had been canceled “due to a change in schedule.”

The former Iranian president Hashemi Rafsanjani was reported to have admitted this week that the country’s nuclear program was started with the intent of building a nuclear weapon, with the express consent and participation of Khamenei. “Our basic doctrine was peaceful usage of the nuclear technology although we never abandoned the idea that if one day we are threatened and it is imperative, we would have the capability for going the other path [to nuclear weapon] as well,” Rafsanjani reportedly said. source

The highlight of the CNBC debate was most of the candidates joining together to face a common enemy: the media and ideologue moderators. TV networks only care about ratings, not the debate process, which is why they should have no control over the process. The individual campaigns need to get together and have Lincoln-Douglass style debates rather than be at the mercy of agenda-driven moderators acting as journalists. Priebus is responsible for the current disaster that is the Republican debate process and should resign. Later, Mark is joined by Sen. So often we hear stories of abortionists and abortion industry workers getting to their current positions because they wanted to “help women” and “do some good” but really, how is it a good thing to knowingly tear a child apart for the sake of what a mother wishes? We need to help these women and support these women who are facing stressful pregnancies and feel that abortion is their only way out.
It is obvious the abortionists who are on the panels at the conference are smart, articulate and apparently successful at their jobs. I would implore them to take their talents elsewhere, to use their knowledge for good instead of evil.
For abortion advocates who support Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry without a second thought, take a minute and think about your views. Truthfully, would you sit in that conference room and laugh and applaud about the eyeballs of preborn children who are being torn up falling in the lap of the abortionist?
I hope you would not find that funny. That little life is ended, his or her potential stripped away and a mother left without her child. That’s not empowering women. That is betraying them...

Can you say playing God? More accurately, playing Satan!
The Born Alive Infant Abortion Protection Act, essentially this means a baby that survives an intended abortion is to be terminated. How this termination was to be accomplished was up debated by so-called 'ethicists.' Options included gradual starvation and suffocation!
-Partial birth abortion is already widely practiced wherein the abortionist literally sucks a baby’s brains out with a catheter. High power attorney Hillary Clinton continually fights to keep that barbaric and painful baby execution procedure legal. She argues that the baby isn’t human at 9 months old, even if the baby's body is 80% out of the body with a healthy heart and full born baby brainwaves, it's not human. And now to add murderous insult to unconscionable injury, Barack Obama and other barbarians claim a baby isn’t fully human even when it’s completely born and already living out of the mother's body for hours, laughing or crying with a do not resuscitate order. But it’s not “murder” they say because it falls within new manmade line that delays life up to four hours after birth.

Instead it was Secretary of State John Kerry who told Abbas not to meet with Netanyahu.
Abbas went to the UN and disavowed the Oslo Accords. The first Muslim stabbings of Jews, with the encouragement of the PLO, began a few days later.
It is unlikely that Kerry had directly told Abbas to escalate the violence, but he had sent him the same effective message by coordinating with the PLO boss at the expense of Netanyahu. The top terrorist came away with the understanding that the administration favored him and was hostile to Netanyahu.
And he was right.
So Abbas decided to see what another outburst of violence would net him.
It wasn’t the first time that Obama and Kerry had unleashed Abbas’ worst impulses...
