The horror of the Islamic terror attacks in Paris last month barely had time to process itself in our collective brain when the Muslims struck again, this time in San Bernardino, California, which killed and gravely wounded over 40 souls. In less than 24 hours, Obama began doing damage control for the Muslims by reducing the incident to “workplace violence” instead of calling it by it’s proper name of Islamic jihad on American soil. That should be the only red flag you will ever need if you were wondering if Obama was willing and able to keep us safe within our own borders.

During his 28 years on the police force in Los Angeles, James Craig tended to agree with his state’s tight control over concealed carry permits, believing fewer guns would lead to fewer violent crimes. But when he moved to Portland, Maine, in 2009 to serve as the city’s new police chief, he discovered a different culture – one where guns actually made people safer.
Now Craig, the chief of police in Detroit, Mich., has a message for the law-abiding folks in his crime-ridden city: Arm yourselves, and criminals will think twice about attacking you.
At a press conference at police headquarters Thursday, the Detroit News reports, Craig praised the deterrent power of a legally armed citizenry. “When we look at the good community members who have concealed weapons permits,” he said, “the likelihood they’ll shoot is based on a lack of confidence in this Police Department.”

The classic Liberal lie, when talking about our Right To Bear Arms, is that they will say, “don’t worry, no one is trying to take away your right to go hunting”. They choose that language very carefully and intentionally because they are trying to reduce the Second Amendment to say it applies to hunting and target practice. It doesn’t. The Second Amendment exists because our Founding Fathers knew very clearly that the day might come when Americans would need to defend themselves from internal enemies like a government that was turning into a dictatorship. As Adolf Hitler rose to power in Nazi Germany, he took away guns from the common people. So did Stalin and every other dictator that rose to control their nation. Unarmed people cannot defend and protect themselves. Thomas Jefferson said this about what to do if America ever moved away from the Constitution:

Jefferson and the others knew that the people could not carry that out if they were unarmed. In the case of American life in 2015 under Obama, we have a president who absolutely refuses to utter the words “Islamic terrorism”, and attempts to whitewash jihadi terror attacks with the label of “workplace violence”.
IN 2013, THE CDC SAYS THAT 10,076 PEOPLE WERE KILLED AT THE HANDS OF A DRUNK DRIVER, YET OBAMA ISSUES NO CALLS OF ANY KIND TO STOP OR REDUCE THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL. THAT IS 27+ PEOPLE PER DAY EVERY DAY SLAUGHTERED BY ALCOHOL, AND HIS ADMINISTRATION DOES NOTHING. IN THE SAME PERIOD, 1,490 PEOPLE WERE STABBED TO DEATH WITH A KNIFE, BUT OBAMA ISSUES NO CALLS OF ANY KIND TO STOP OR REDUCE THE SALE OF KNIVES TO ANYONE. HARVARD UNIVERSITY SAYS THAT EACH YEAR 840,00 PEOPLE ARE HOSPITALIZED FROM ADVERSE REACTIONS TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FROM THEIR DOCTORS, AND THAT 128,000 OF THOSE SAME PEOPLE WILL DIE FROM LEGALLY PRESCRIBED MEDICATION. THAT IS OVER 350 PEOPLE WHO DIE EVERY DAY FROM SOMETHING THAT IS LEGALLY GIVEN TO THEM BY SOMEONE THEY TRUST.

Alcohol, knives and prescription drugs, while deadly, are not what you could ever use to defend yourself from anyone who came at you with weapons of war like guns and bombs. Self defense means gun ownership, the Founding Fathers knew that, and they included the Second Amendment to give us that ability. That was their gift to us to ensure that the God-given freedoms given to us are never taken from us. When we lose the ability to purchase and own guns, when we lose the Second Amendment, we will no longer be a free people in a free society. This is why Obama and the Liberals could care less about drunk drivers and Big Pharma that kill 10 times more people every day that guns ever will.

A major New York newspaper had a full-page headline this week that read, “God Isn’t Fixing This”, a pointed jab at a suggestion that Americans pray that God will intervene in America’s struggle with radical Islam.
Neighbors of the Muslim couple who killed 14 people and wounded 14 more in San Bernardino, California this week said that they had suspicions about the couple but were afraid of saying anything about if for fear of being accused of “profiling”, while it was just released that the woman involved in the attack reportedly swore allegiance to ISIS online.
An incident at Fort Hood, Texas where Maj. Nidal Hasan screamed “Allahu Akbar” as he gunned down several unarmed soldiers was ruled “violence in the work place” by the government.
President Obama, always reluctant to admit that Islamic terror had anything to do with the violence in America, upon hearing about the recent slaughter in San Bernardino immediately started blaming it on inadequate gun laws.
Hillary Clinton has decided to follow Obama in his decision to never properly identify our radical Islamic terrorist enemies, refusing to even say the words.
Many of our college campuses have been taken over by students who think they can create a Utopian atmosphere, whereby they can live in a cocoon of absolute political correctness, absent dissenting opinions, banishing those who disagree with them and ignoring the realities of life in the real world.
Our national debt, now approaching nineteen trillion dollars, is being basically ignored as the interest grows to unsustainable proportions.
Obamacare is coming apart at the seams, leaving a confused public wondering what happened to the honeyed promises of lower premiums and coverage for every American.
While Russia and China continue to modernize and strengthen their military, American forces languish in political limbo, losing our most able combat officers at an alarming rate. [...]
I'm not covering any new ground here; I am simply trying to call attention to it.
The next election, not just the presidential election but the congressional and state races, could well determine the kind of America we pass on to our kids or maybe even if we have an America to pass on to our kids.
