RIG THE IOWA VOTE?
BY NEWS TARGET — Though Hillary Clinton declared victory over Democratic rival Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucuses early Tuesday morning, there were audible grumblings from multiple corners about the integrity of the vote tallies. As of now, the official count stands at 49.9 percent for Clinton, and 49.6 for Sanders – a difference that the Iowa Democratic Party has stated is “the closest in Iowa Democratic caucus history.” But there were lingering questions raised by numerous caucus watchers about how vote counters arrived at those numbers.
C-SPAN alleged charges of voter fraud in Polk County, Iowa, and released a video purportedly showing that Clinton caucus chair Drew Gentsch and precinct captain Liz Buck did “not conduct actual count of Clinton supporters and deliberately [misled the] caucus.” Speaking to the Burlington Free Press about the issue, Sanders expressed hope that things were on the up-and-up. ...

CARSON DOESN’T NAME THE TRICKSTERS, BUT HE APPEARS TO BE IMPLICATING TEXAS SEN. TED CRUZ'S CAMPAIGN. Carson released a statement following his fourth-place finish in the caucus that thanked Iowans, but spotlighted what he characterizes as his opponents' misbehavior.
“FOR MONTHS, MY CAMPAIGN HAS SURVIVED THE LIES AND DIRTY TRICKS FROM OPPONENTS WHO PROFESS TO DETEST THE GAMES OF THE POLITICAL CLASS, BUT IN REALITY ARE MASTERS AT IT,” Carson said in a statement. "Even tonight, my opponents resorted to political tricks by tweeting, texting and telling precinct captains to announce that I had suspended my campaign — in some cases asking caucus-goers to change their votes. ONE OF THE REASONS I GOT INTO THIS RACE WAS TO STOP THESE DECEPTIVE AND DESTRUCTIVE PRACTICES, AND THESE REPORTS HAVE ONLY FURTHER STEELED MY RESOLVE TO CONTINUE AND FIGHT FOR ‘WE THE PEOPLE,’ and return control of the government back to them." Using, “data from polls, prediction markets, and anonymized and aggregated search-engine queries to predict its results,” Microsoft forecasts that Hillary will win three out of the first four Democratic primaries, taking Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada, with Sanders taking New Hampshire.
Although the technology isn’t perfect, Microsoft correctly predicted the outcome of the 2015 Academy Awards, the ‘No’ vote for Scottish independence, and the outcome of more than 95 percent of the 2014 U.S. midterm elections. ...
