NRA Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Wayne LaPierre urged the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland to stand up for freedom this November and take back the country. He said the most effective and surest way to defend freedom is found in four simple words — Thou Shalt Not Lie — and he promised that the NRA would continue to expose the liars about freedom as they’ve been doing for decades. IN 2012, THE YEAR THAT MITT ROMNEY WAS CRUSHED AT THE POLLS BY BARACK OBAMA, he had reached out to billionaire businessman Donald Trump and campaigned quite hard to get his endorsement. Mr. Trump was happy to comply with Romney’s request. At the time, as you will see in the video, getting Trump’s endorsement was, in Mitt’s own words, “one of the greatest experiences” of his life, he was that happy to have Trump’s seal of approval.

Donald Trump was never supposed to get this far, and now party insiders are scrambling to come up with a plan to block him from securing the nomination before the convention. AFTER WINNING SEVEN STATES ON SUPER TUESDAY, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WOULD BE RALLYING AROUND TRUMP AND PREPARING FOR A TOUGH GENERAL ELECTION BATTLE WITH HILLARY CLINTON.
