BY SUSAN DUCLOS, ALL NEWS PIPELINE — Illegal immigration, open borders, gun free zones, the Syrian refugee resettlement program, speaking English in America and a whole host of other issues were addressed by Trump in his brutally blunt fashion over the last nine months, and while political pundits, along with the above referenced political players all rushed out to denounce his statements, pollsters found that pluralities and in some cases the majority of Americans actually agreed with Trump.
Compounding their mistakes, the MSM, so disconnected with how discontented Americans are with the direction of the country, decided in their ultimate wisdom that if they just highlighted and continuously played Trump's statements over and over again on television, and dedicated enough ink to them in papers and online, that Americans would turn away, his support would drop, he would be forced to end his campaign and a more traditional candidate would end up with the GOP presidential nomination. How did that work out for them?
