You know what I fear? Based on things I’ve seen, based on things I’ve read, based on things I’ve heard, it seems that a lot of people still believe “hands up, don’t shoot” happened. It seems to me — and I’ve done nothing but immerse myself in this. I have wanted to find even the most obscure comments from the most obscure players.
And folks, it seems to me that there are a lot of people who believe “hands up, don’t shoot,” Ferguson, Missouri, that Michael Brown was an innocent victim running away from a policeman and was shot in the back while having his hands up saying, “Don’t shoot.”
It didn’t happen. It is a false narrative that the media spread and spread, and the protesting agitators spread it. And it has taken on a life of its own that it never had, it was never true, and significantly a lot of people believe it and other things similar to it that didn’t happen or didn’t happen the way they were reported. But yet people believe them. And so it has become impossible for me to view life outside the lens of media. Because that’s apparently how most of life is now seen, even by average, ordinary people who are not, quote, being covered by the media. It’s still everything presented today is through the lens of media, which in itself corrupts.

Consider last Sunday’s NFL line up. Someone has counted the number of players that took the knee in disrespect for our National Anthem.
Every NFL game that day had some demonstration by players, some in which whole teams refused to be on the field for the National Anthem; claiming somehow Francis Scott Key and the poem he wrote were racist!
In fact, the entire NFL has its nose fully engorged in the public pork trough.
Since “1999... taxpayers at all levels of government have foot the bill for football stadiums to the tune of an estimated $1 billion every year.”

VIA SKYWATCH EDITOR — Silicon Valley has ‘a vibrant religious culture, a more-or-less orthodox theology, and plenty of rites and institutions to keep its priestly caste employed and relevant’, according to philosopher of religion Samuel Loncar. Reassuring, surely, given that the technology it produces shapes every sphere of our lives, from politics to health to news to our private relationships? That religious culture, however, is not centred around any deity familiar to one of the world religions, but around Artificial Intelligence (AI). Anthony Levandowski, a multi-millionaire engineer based in Silicon Valley, has founded a religious organisation called Way of the Future, Wired reported last week. It aims to ‘develop and promote the realisation of a Godhead based on Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘through understanding and worship of the Godhead, [to] contribute to the betterment of society’. But does Levandowski’s ‘Godhead’ have anything to do with the Christian God? And since on the face of it the answer is ‘No’, does it tell us anything about the modern religious impulse? Levandowski is perhaps not as entrepreneurial as he may seem. For his is not the first religion or ‘church’ established by self-described atheists committed to the faith that technology and science can solve every problem faced by humankind, including mortality.
