But up until now top members of the Democratic Party have been immune from prosecution for mishandling classified documents even though evidence that they are guilty is publicly available for everyone to see. On Friday, we learned that there were classified documents among the 2,800 work-related emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Huma Abedin regularly forwarded documents to her husband’s laptop, and every time she sent a classified document to his laptop it was a violation of federal law.

The Lion of al-Lāt is an ancient statue, almost 11 feet tall and weighing 15 tons, which stood in the temple of pre-Islamic goddess al-Lāt in Palmyra, Syria. In June 2015 the statue was severely damaged, along with many other artifacts at the historic site, by the Islamic State (ISIS) after it captured Palmyra. The statue was eventually removed to the National Museum of Damascus where it underwent reconstruction.

EDITOR’S NOTE: I have no problem with making marijuana legal, to me it’s the smoke equivalent of alcohol. If you make one legal, then it is only fair to make the other legal as well. But the problem that comes in is sobriety. Remember those grainy, old videos of people celebrating the repeal of Prohibition way back in 1933? They were ecstatic to get legal alcohol back again. Then American and the world watched as legal alcohol created legions of alcoholics that grew with each passing decade. Legal pot? If that’s your thing, enjoy it. But the Bible calls us to be sober in these last days, not drunk or high. And you can’t smoke pot and stay sober.

The Palestinian leadership has painted Trump’s recent recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as a major obstacle to peace, going so far as to reject any further American role in the peace process.
Trump’s White House has responded that the Palestinian Authority was itself an obstacle to peace long before he ever came to the White House. Trump himself said that was evidenced by the Palestinian regime’s latest refusal to even come to the negotiating table.
