PAUL RYAN LEADS ESTABLISHMENT FEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST TRUMP’S NATIONAL SECURITY METAL TARIFFS
BY JOHN CARNEY — Paul Ryan led a pack of senior Republican lawmakers in an attack Thursday on the tariff policies of Donald Trump.
House Speaker Ryan said in a statement that he “feared the unintended consequences” of the new tariffs. The statement was issued only moments after President Trump signed proclamations of the new tariffs in a ceremony at the White House.
Ryan was joined by Jeff Flake, the Republican from Arizona, who described the tariffs as “lethal poisons.” Flake said he would introduce legislation to “nullify these tariffs,” a phrase that echoed a fraught period in American history.

Since Obamacare's Medicaid expansion came into effect in 2014, 21,904 people have died while on the waiting list, and that number only includes 12 of the 32 states that expanded Medicaid. During that time, Medicaid spending on able-bodied adults more than doubled. According to the report, only 10.7 million disabled people are on Medicaid, while the program covers 29.2 million able-bodied adults.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Barack Obama promised that the health care bill that bears his name would ‘protect and insure the truly needy’ in America. But as it turns out, the ‘truly needy’ are dying by the tens of thousands as they wait for help, while the healthy and able-bodied are receiving help they don’t really need. BY MALLORY QUIGLEY VIA LIFE NEWS — Today the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued a report on taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and other entities that perform abortion during fiscal years 2013-2015. The report shows that Planned Parenthood and its affiliates spent $288 million in federal funds, and another 1.2 billion in funding from Medicaid (which includes a combination of federal and state funds) for a total of $1.5 billion during the three-year period.
The report is the first to break down funding amounts by Planned Parenthood affiliate, showing that $544 million – more than one-third of total funding – went to four affiliates that have since been referred to the Justice Department for investigation for their role in the harvest and sale of the organs of aborted babies.
