Air rifles and pistols exercise all the same fundamentals of marksmanship, just at shorter ranges and can even be used for hunting. In light of more than a few ranges being closed due to COVID-19, a number of air guns are backyard friendly. No hearing protection required, but as always, eye protection. Your neighbor will not even be aware you are shooting.

But safety first! You are responsible for every shot taken. Know where the pellet is going to go. Have a backstop with sufficient stopping power...

Initially, it appeared that we might avoid this sort of a scenario. For several months Joe Biden had a large lead in all of the major national polls, and some people were even discussing the possibility of a “landslide”. But now the polls are tightening up, and this is especially true in the swing states which will ultimately decide the outcome of the election. If the race is quite tight once we get to election night, it is likely that neither side will be willing to concede until every conceivable legal challenge is completely exhausted. That could mean an extended legal battle lasting for months, and that is something that none of us should want to see.

But it appears that such an outcome could be quite likely. In fact, former FEC chair Michael Toner is warning that the 2020 election could potentially be “Bush v. Gore on steroids”...

 BY MICAIAH BILGER VIA LIFE NEWS — President Donald Trump’s administration is fighting back against powerful abortion advocacy groups’ attempts to weaken safety regulations that protect mothers and unborn babies from dangerous at-home abortions.

On Wednesday, lawyers for the Republican administration filed a petition asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate a U.S. Food and Drug Administration rule that requires abortion facilities to provide the abortion drug mifepristone to women in person, rather than by mail, according to a press release from the American Civil Liberties Union.

Abortion activists with the ACLU and other groups have been pushing for the deregulation of the dangerous drugs, using the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to claim that the regulation puts women at risk.

In July, a federal judge blocked the FDA regulation and, then in August, an appeals court denied the Trump administration’s request to reinstate the rule. Now, the administration is appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court.
