The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a branch of the Iranian Armed Forces, founded after the Iranian Revolution on 22 April 1979 by order of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Whereas the Iranian Army defends Iranian borders and maintains internal order, according to the Iranian constitution, the Revolutionary Guard is intended to protect the country’s Islamic republic political system.

Incidentally—since I went off on a tangent in that last paragraph—it should be noted that “LORD” in all cap letters as in the aforementioned verse always means “Yahweh,” the Judeo-Christian God in the King James Version Holy Bible, and does not mean Islam’s Allah, which is not just another name for Yahweh/Jehovah, who is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Allah and Yahweh are not one and the same, and the difference between the two is important to be understood, especially with Christianity and Islam being merged into what is called “Chrislam” and being taught in certain churches to deceive and lead the flock astray by wolves in sheep clothing. First, there was a surprisingly violent confrontation between US and Russian forces that left 4 US soldiers with concussions. The video of that clash/attack in Syria is below, and it shows American MRAPS being surrounded by Russian mobile ground troops while Russia helicopters circle over head. Not a small deal.
