Synopsis: Studies show that near death experiences are real.

I’ve always been skeptical of the “I was with Jesus in Heaven and came back" stories and always thought they were extremely vivid dreams (Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”) The mind is a very powerful “organ” and near death experiences must be extremely stressful to the mind and the body.
Much of my skepticism comes from the fact that the telling of those experiences often expands and elaborates on the details and “new” details emerge (ie: how did you know that? after the listener plants a new idea into the story line) as conversations grow. I absolutely believe that Jesus is the Messiah, God the Son and the Lord and Savior of all who repent and accept him as such -- and that is the critical issue whether we agree on the near death stories or not.
I’d like to believe some of the near death stories, but ... I reckon I will find out for certain one of these days regardless of whether death or the Rapture gathers me home first.
Regardless, in the meantime: Christ Jesus is Lord and King! He is risen indeed!
